Killer Dowel Pin KDP Repair Kit fit for？
- Fit for Dodge 1989-2002 5.9BT Cummins 12 Valve & 24 Valve Engine.
- This KDP kit has a reversible Dowel Pin Retainer that can be used with the VE pump engines.
A Must Have TOOL
- The dowel pin used in the Cummins engine can back out of its bore. When it does, it can fall into the camshaft gear and cause all types of expensive engine damage. So you need this product.

Easy to install! The design is simple and easy to understand and provides a lot more peace of mind for these engines. It fit nicely and appears it will function well for the lifetime of the engine with minimal chances of failure. Given the costs it can save if you don’t install it this makes it a great value for the price point. My pin was still fully in place at 145k miles, however I still installed this anyway as a preventive since it was for a 36’ diesel pusher motorhome we just purchased and were about to take on a 5200 mile round trip road trip across the US in a few short weeks. Made the whole trip with no issues and had peace of mind knowing the dowel pin would be much more secure now just in case.

Possibly saved my timing housing and maybe some gears. It was on its way out. Only thing I can complain about is I seen a guy order on3 and it already had thread locker on the hex head bolt

If the 12v Cummins were a famous monster it’d be the Werewolf, cause like the werewolf, the only thing that’ll kill it is a silver bullet. Keep the hair on your beasts scrote, and install this to keep the monster alive.
