Smoke came out of the monitor. Im not sure why but it won’t turn in anymore. Had it maybe a little more than a month. Gosh danget! I mean the picture looks good but now im without a monitor. Just be careful when using i guess.

despite the odd brand name (at least i have always felt it was odd) this monitor is great. Super bright, responsive touch screen, etc. i have had zero issues. there is a tiny LED that is on in the corner, always, even when the monitor is off. i bet it drains the battery, but i’m not sure if it does in a noticeable or important way. i would just take the battery off if that bothers you. otherwise, the monitor is well built and very light. i love all the accessories it comes with. however, if you’d like to attach it to a ronin s you will need to buy another adapter. i would recommend the one from small rig.

The product works great, not sure what other reviewers said about no power button, it has one, and my A7III 4k works on it. Great price and good enough quality, enough features to get the job done and its light. The only con is that I cant get the upgrade to work, but I just got it and I have not looked into it. Good purchase so far.

Edit: I've had the F6/Andycine A6 for a little over a week now. As a non-photographer, I ordered this monitor as a high resolution but small second monitor for use with a laptop as well as just to have a small portable hdmi display. Despite the cheaper feel from the presence of dead pixels on my unit, the monitor fulfills these roles very well. When connected to a Windows 10 device, the monitor can be set as high as 8000 odd pixels x 4000 odd pixels but at 24hz. 60 hz at 1920x1080p, and it registers up to 75 hz when dropped to around 600x480p. The color on the screen looks great and seems accurate. Again I am not a photographer nor in AV: I have found that decreasing the brightness and increasing the saturation for the user profile can make some content look fantastic. Toggling back to the Standard preset from my color inaccurate/'fun' profile is just a few clicks so accurate presentation isn't difficult to return to from the fun and vibrant one.The color, brightness, auxiliary audio output's sound quality and volume are all fantastic (indoor use first impressions connected to a Windows pc). The case is a bit of a tight fit for the screen but it's large enough and accommodates a dc12v adapter I subbed in. The screen is light so the battery used accounts for the vast majority of it's overall weight. My only real problem with this unit is that it arrived with 3 dead pixels, each in a different spot on the screen. While this is a 'budget' option for on-camera monitors, it still costs enough money that quality control issues are a disappointment. I hope others have better luck with getting a defect-free panel.

For the size and the price of this field monitor cant beat it.Most monitors dont come with a battery so this package is perfect to get you started. The image is great only down size is if you have a touch screen camera you wont have those features with this unit. That was not a killer for me so i didnt care. I purchased this unit to help me when my camera is on the gimbal and to make sure that my focus always on point. It beats looking at the small screens on the camera.

The only thing I don't like about my Canon 6D is the lack of an articulating screen. This solves the issue wonderfully. I find it particularly useful for vlogging as I can see myself during the shooting.I do want to correct some false information from other reviews. Some have said you can't use this to see what you're shooting live, only for reviewing after the shot. That is not true. This works perfectly as a live monitor while shooting your photos or making video. You can even use the camera's zoom feature to zoom on the screen.Overall, very happy to have purchased it.

For starters this monitor is perfect for the price. The size ratio for smaller mirrorless cameras is the happy medium you need to have good picture and not a big rig. The tilt arm makes using the monitor extremely simply for cameras that don’t have articulating screens. The monitor comes with a carrying case, sun hood for outdoors, HDMI cables, tilt arm, Battery and charger (all of this is listed in the description) but it is nice to know you get a complete start up bundle for under $200. The image quality is phenomenal and jam packed with features. The monitor has 4 hot keys that can be programmed to any of the custom settings such as but not limited too: false color, focus peaking, zoom in, grids, crop bars, histogram, etc. and all of them can be programmed to fit the user. The fact that the monitor uses Sony NP batteries that most lighting equipment uses is also a plus. I run a lot of external lights so I have a lot of batteries in hand. They last much longer than most LP-E6 monitors and are much more versatile. The sun hood is easily attached and useful in the sun and harsh conditions. Since the NIT level isn’t insanely high like Atomos and SmallHD it is nice to have that included in the bundle.Everything is easily packed up in the case for safe storing in the camera bag, which is reassuring that it won’t get dinged up and broken do to its plastic build. Some may see that as a negative but for me, I prefer that do to lighter weight on my rig.All in all, I give this a 5/5 for me personally. I’ve owned Atomos, smallhd focus and even the blackmagic Video Assist. They were all great monitors but some were to big and heavy for run and gun shooting, and some the battery capabilities were limited and frustrating. I’m happy with this purchase, and use it all the time.
