It displays a very nice picture quality, however, the attachments seem very flimsy and it overheats a ton

Product is great! I received it at first and after a couple months it wouldn't turn on. I contacted customer support and thanks to Doris at Feelworld, I was able to get a replacement device! I did have to pay for shipping to return my malfunctioned device to the warehouse. But now, the product works great and customer support is responsive!

Quality is good. It’s a lightweight option priced very well. It doesn’t always connect to my OM camera, and turning it on and off and unplugging a few times seems to be ok.

So this monitor is not bad- but do note: there's no battery that comes with this; this model doesn't have touch screen focus combined in its features; it doesn't give you the option to actually amplify exactly what your camera's LCD screen looks like (and let me explain this further). So for example, if your camera's LCD screen has a center marker and a level (like ground-level focus lever) appearing in real-time, it's not going to show up on this external monitor. At least that was my experience with using this combined with a Sony ZV-E10. There are some built in features on the monitor itself (like a 3rd lines grid, histogram, etc.) but it doesn't display what's exactly on your camera's LCD screen, so like if you have your audio level metered real-time on the screen, or have face-eye subject focus auto detect, those little squares won't be amplified on the monitor, which was my experience. I got this in hopes that this would remedy the challenges of reading the small screen on the cam itself -- it does help view what you're recording with more ease better, but because it doesn't show all of the features you may have built-in on-camera for your cam's LCD screen, this is where this monitor may fall short in usage for some as this was the case for me. Apparently this seller has two different external monitors being sold with different features and I did not order the other which apparently may also have focus-touch features as well.

I needed a 5" monitor quickly for a night time shoot, and stumbled upon this one via some YouTube reviews. This monitor is packed with features, and shows how far affordable monitor tech has come. The touch screen is responsive, the display color is adjustable (a feature not found on many far more expensive monitors), it offers LUT (look up table) support, false color, has two customizable buttons, and the interface is logical and easy to use. Having an HDMI output port is very handy, and not expected on a monitor at this price. The pass through NP-F style power attachment on the back is a real surprise, and will work as shown with my Hollyland wireless transmitter. The sun hood is simple, but easy to attach and will help when dealing with the low monitor brightness and reflection. The few drawbacks are minor considering the low price of this product: Low monitor brightness and no SDI support. I do wish the focus peaking had a threshold control, as it is overly aggressive. Build is light weight plastic, so it may not be super durable. The battery seems to remain "active" even if the power button is turned off. I don't know if this will drain the battery or not....time will tell. The cold-shoe arm mount is OK, not great, but certainly better than nothing at all. Again, for the low price of this monitor, the few negatives are greatly outweighed by all the positives!

For the money, I don't think you can get a better on camera monitor w/touchscreen. The touch screen access to menu and zoom features is such a time saver. False color, focus peaking, histogram etc are great features and available with couple taps right on screen. I do wish it had Waveform monitor, but most monitors in the price or well above normally don't have them either. The sun shade is easy to mount and stays on securely via Velcro, and folds away nicely (you will need it to film in bright sun, this isn't the brightest monitor rated at 500 Nits) but the sun screen works very well. The offset mounting arm works great and has locking nut to keep monitor in place, and is pretty low-profile, and also has an additional hot shot mount on the side if you want to mount a low-profile mic. Having the ability to add a wireless transmitter like the Mars400s (Or other Sony NPF battery accessory) to the back and power both is awesome. It keeps the unit nice and low profile, and I can power the Mars 400S with the Sony battery that's powering the monitor at the same time. This really helps keep the rig compact, and with a NPF970 and the Mars 400s, the weight distribution evens itself out nicely. Much better than having the Transmitter handing off the side, or on another hot shoe mount. All in all, amazing bang for the buck!
