This was a replacement for a broken hinge on my Canon MF244dw laser printer. Instructions on replacement can be found on YouTube. So far the replacement has the same performance as the original. I'm sure the other hinge will break at some point so the second hinge in the two pack will eventually serve to replace that one. Time will tell how long the replacement lasts
