He loves when it goes off! 😆 it's been great for me since typically my cat would be starving, over-eat and vomit when given at lesser intervals. It has been great for portion control. I have it set to feed every 2 hours, which is not feasible for me to do manually all day. It works great, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Den Stecker zur Steckdose hätte man sicher anders designen können, aber nu ja. Die Batterien sind nur notwendig bei einem Standort ohne Strom in der Nähe.Das eingeben der Futterausgabezeiten ist ein wenig mühsam, aber problemlos wenn man es raus hat (erst entsperren, dann durch alle Zeiten durchgehen).Eine App wäre wünschenswert, aber dann muss man sich von vornherein ein anderes Modell aussuchen. Das man zur Futterausgabe eine eigene Nachricht oder was auch immer aufnehmen kann ist Nonsens; das Mikro schlecht und der Ausgabesound gruselig.Sehr gut ist das man 2 Flügel geliefert bekommt - einen für 5g und einen für 10g; dazu die Wahlmöglichkeit von 1 Portion (5g/10g) bis 5 Portionen (also 25g/50g) finde ich ideal (ein bisschen Fummelei die Flügel auszutauschen, aber kein Hexenwerk). In Verbindung mit der Möglichkeit bis zu 2kg Futter einzufüllen, garantiert dies einen sehr geringen Aufwand. Das gefällt.Ich entschied mich für diesen Futterautomat, da meine Katze gerade auf Diät ist; sie bekommt 4x 5g, ich habe keinen Aufwand und die Mieze bekommt zuverlässig ihr Hartfutter wenn ich arbeite. Win-Win.Die Ausgabe könnte ein wenig leiser sein, aber Nachts gibts eh nix, insofern, nicht erschrecken.Insgesamt macht das Ding einen stabilen Eindruck und tut brav seinen Dienst, das finde ich wichtig.

Great Unit. Perfect Size for my little Dog Zach. It was so easy to set up out the box. Includes a super long power cord and charger block. You can also use batteries which is a plus. The hopper is big and holds a bit of kibble. The unit is very nice. It comes apart easily if you need to clean out the hopper. Smooth plastic wipes easily clean. And the unit easily comes apart if you need to. The set up was flawless. Connected to wifi with zero issues. So easy I didn't even need to read the manual. The app is simple and easy to use. You can feed your pet from anywhere in the world with the dispense button on the app (or manually on the unit) and you can gauge the quantity dispensed! Push notifications if you want You can record video and take pictures. You can even talk to your pet with the microphone. Super Cool! Highly Recommend!

Appareil très performant ! Nous sommes bluffés ! Après des heures (oui des heures) de recherches et de comparaisons entre les machines et les avis, nous avons commandé celle ci en double pour nos deux chats.- A réception la machine reçue semble très robuste, très solide, et lourde même à vide donc pas facilement renversable. Le câble USB est assez long et souple de bonne qualité !- Hyper facile à connecter avec l'application dans l'iPhone SMART LIFE. Il faut juste avoir bien son code wi-fi de la maison. Le reste est un jeu d'enfant ! Le tour est joué en 3 minutes ! En revanche il faut brancher l'appareil à l'alimentation pour voir et distribuer à distance, si vous ne mettez que les piles cela ne fonctionne pas, vous pourrez seulement appuyer sur le bouton de la machine en présentiel mais à distance "l'appareil est hors ligne".L'avantage des PILES : distribuer manuellement à la maison sans s'embêter avec le câble, et garder les paramètres wifi enregistrés dans la machine après un coupure de courant même longue.- L' APPLICATION est très facile d'utilisation !Si vous mettez une carte sim à l'intérieur (pas besoin d'une 128Go ! nous avons mis une 32 pour 15jours et il reste beaucoup de place), à chaque fois que votre animal passe devant le champs de la caméra, cela enregistrera les séquences sur votre carte sim que vous pourrez revoir à loisir de votre téléphone à distance (pratique à la fin de la journée à distance) ou à la maison de votre ordinateur en lisant la carte dans un lecteur ! et vous pourrez de votre téléphone ou de l'ordi enregistrer une séquence qui vous amuse.En revanche, quand nous sommes à la maison et que nous n'avons pas besoin d'enregistrer les passages des chats, nous enlevons la carte sim. La caméra fonctionne pareil elle filme quand l'animal passe dans le champs, vous pouvez visionner en temps réel à distance (grâce à une alerte sur votre téléphone qui marche très bien), la seule différence est que la séquence n'est pas enregistrée.Cela est pratique quand vous êtes pour longtemps à la maison sinon tout est enregistré c'est à dire tous vos mouvements devant la caméra :-)- En revanche pas très commode la Carte à l'intérieur du réservoir de croquettes ! pour la mettre ou l'enlever il faut vider toutes les croquettes dans un premier temps.Astuce : nous avons mis un scotch transparent sur la fenêtre qui ouvre l'emplacement de la carte sim, pour éviter que l'humidité et la saleté des croquettes ne rentrent à l'intérieur : indispensable pour une que la carte et son lecteur durent dans le temps !- La CAMÉRA est très claire, on voit très bien le chat manger, marcher. En revanche on ne voit pas la dose qui tombe dans l'assiette. En couleur la journée et en Noir et Blanc la nuit. Fonctionne à merveille !- Le RESERVOIR de la machine est très grand ce qui permet de mettre beaucoup de croquettes !!! Le couvercle est très bien serré, et vraiment très difficile à ouvrir (impossible d'une main par exemple) ce qui rassure sur la capacité d'un chat même le plus malicieux à ouvrir l'engin !- LE MICRO en direct quand nous sommes à distance fonctionne hyper bien. Le son est même très très très fort ! mais c'est parfait, on lance le signal si on distribue manuellement.- Toutefois et on ne l'explique pas quand nous nous enregistrons à l'avance, LE SON est tout faible, inaudible. Pareil sur nos deux machineS, que l'on s'enregistre sur place ou à distance. Franchement après avoir cherché et s'être rendus à l'évidence que cela fonctionnait mal ou pas, nous nous sommes dit que cela était gadget ! Le seul bruit des croquettes dans l'assiette fait un vacarme et lance le signal !!!- Quant au problème soulevé par plusieurs commentaires concernant l'étoile qui tourne pour brasser les croquettes voici notre explication. Il semblerait que cette étoile tourne donc uniquement pour brasser et faire tomber les croquettes dans tourniquet qui lui va distribuer les croquettes. Cette "étoile" est en plastique souple (mou) afin d'éviter que les croquettes ne se bloquent. Et le fait qu'elle "remonte" et "saute" de temps en temps nous semble en effet bien étudié pour éviter tout blocage. Peut-être que le temps nous dira le contraire, mais jusqu'à présent avec es croquettes de taille standard (royal canin neutred) tout fonctionne à merveille. Il ne faut pas être trop regardant sur le dosage en effet au gramme près, mais bon même pour un chat au régime pas de catastrophe possible. Le tourniquet est petit et ne peut donc distribuer que de petites doses !Voilà. Si vous avez des questions on y répondra, au vu de la difficulté que nous avons eu à trouver un très bon distributeur et au vu de notre entière satisfaction.- La distribution de croquette se fait très bien ! Il faut en effet peser ses croquettes avant pour savoir combien il y en a pour 10grammes, mais une fois cette amusement effectué il suffit d'adapter les doses.- La machine se nettoie assez bien, nous réussissons à tout démonter à l'intérieur avec l'aide d'un tournevis.- Les gamelles ne passent pas au lave vaisselle, nous n'avons pas essayé par précaution en revanche nous mettons une petite gamelle plate en inox à l'intérieur de la gamelle d'origine ce qui permet un nettoyage régulier et facile !

After researching 3 feeders, I decided this one seemed the best. It was also the cheapest of the 3. We ordered this to feed our cat when we are away for long weekends. It seems very solidly constructed. The lid locks on very well – there is NO WAY a cat could get the lid off if it is properly put on. Theoretically, maybe, a large dog could use their teeth to unlock it, but this seems VERY unlikely.The storage spot is huge – I think it could hold enough food to feed our cat for a month.The feeding mechanism is essentially a small roulette wheel that the food drops into as it turns. Each spot is a “portion”. The portions are pretty small, large dog kibble wouldn’t really work with this feeder. It’s for standard size cat kibble. The “trial and error” process to find the right number of portions for your animal is not hard – I guessed 6 portions, it was too much, I changed to 4, it was just right for the twice a day feeding.You can set up to 6 feedings a day. We only use two so simply turned the others to “Off”. We plug our into the wall, which means we needed to move the feeder to a spot with an accessible outlet. You can also put batteries into it and I would image them would last a long time given the minimal power usage but we're not using that option.The set-up isn’t hard. I’ll admit, I did open the instruction booklet (but only for a moment). The instruction booklet is small with only a couple pages as there really isn’t that much to need to tell you.Total set-up time was about 10 minutes; 15 at most. The clock is in 24 hour time.I think I read in a review that someone said their cat figured out how to hit the ‘manual feed’ button to feed themselves. You can lock the control screen to prevent this from happening. If your cat can both figure out how to unlock the controls and feed themselves, then your cat is an absolute genius.So why only 4 stars? After about a week, the clock on our feeder started falling behind. It would lose a couple hours every day. Then it would sometimes freeze on the same time for half the day.I emailed the customer service contact explaining the situation. They replied back the next business day saying they would ship a new feeder. They shipped a new one; no need to return the old one; no need to deal with amazon's return process. We’ve now been using the new one for over a month and it is working great. Must have been a fluke electrical issue with the first. The customer service person even reached back out via email a few weeks later to make sure everything worked for us. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had from an amazon seller.Overall, would definitely recommend. I expect the feeder to last a long time given the construction quality.

Machine à croquettes facile à installer. On peut enregistrer notre voix. Elle ne prend pas trop de place. On peut même la débrancher de son port usb pendant notre absence (vacances) et la rebrancher, les données ne sont pas effacées. Magnifique !Le seul bémol c’est la quantité de croquettes, on ne comprend pas trop. Mais dans l’ensemble le produit est conforme à nos attentes et fonctionne très bien.

This is an amendment to my earlier review of this product....originally I could not get this cat feeder to work as advertised because the programming instructions were not well described and there was no means to contact the dealer for help. So, I returned it and received a full refund.Shortly thereafter I was contacted by the dealer with an offer to send me a brand new item at no cost, either for the item itself or shipping, asking me to retry it. Along with the email offer came a pdf file with some video instructions that were not originally offered n their ad. Instructionally it was an improvement.Naturally, I accepted their offer and within 4 days I received another cat feeder via an Amazon shipment, it indeed appeared to be brand new (as offered). With some trial and error I have managed to successfully program a feeding schedule and it does work as advertised.It has the ability to record an audio message to alert your cat that feed has been deposited in the bowl. That does work though the sound quality is not great. My cat (who I would not categorized as exceptionally smart) has grown used to it within a matter of days and it has relieved me of the burden of being continually pestered to be fed. I have my feed quantity set for '2' (which, as I understand it is 10 grams? which is equivalent to a small handful of kibble). If your cat is larger you will have to experiment with the quantity to dispense.I would like to say that I cannot praise the company enough (WEAC - Amazon Marketplace) and Amazon itself for this incredible replacement offer. Also, I would like to thank the WEAC customer service representative (Wendy) that I dealt with via email conversations. I give this product and this company the highest recommendation possible. It is well built and well packaged and it DOES work. Give it a try.
