Destroyed the rat population over several weeks and months. They were eating the green blocks like candy. Once this stuff was subbed in, they began to die off and were way down after several months of consistent refill. Be sure to use with hidden bait stations as the blocks smell really good and could be a hazard to pets/ kids. Also used on mice in a different location. They entered a garage and went right to it. Dead. *Unfortunately, roaches and slugs are attracted to the blocks as well (and it does them no harm). They will contaminate and ruin the blocks. Slug bait sprinkled around vicinity and in the trap boxes helps; roaches need to be killed off with other chemicals or sticky traps to keep them away if you live in an area with such wildlife.

Saw two rats for three days, raiding the bird feeder. April 7th received the bucket of bait. Placed several bait boxes at the base of the feeder. Was happy to see that they were devouring the cubes. Then started hearing squealing noises in the middle of the night. Bait completely gone. Ordered another bucket of the stuff and it also was readily eaten. Still NO dead rats to be found. Seems I have been providing a free buffet to all the rats from the whole surrounding neighborhood. Took the lid off and laid the full bucket on its side, and waited. Sure enough at 3 am I hear all this squealing. Dozens of rats were having a feeding frenzy..... HERE is the final result TWO empty buckets, ZERO dead rats!!! And guess what! I now have a rat INFESTATION!Have purchased Farnum's large 8 lb bait blocks as backup, hopefully they are more effective! And as backup for the backup I also got a 4 lb tub of Tomcat

This product does work, and rats definitely LOVE it! However, the heading is a bit misleading. It takes more than ONE bite. I noticed a rat had made a home underneath my house recently, so I put one of these out. After he took it, I put another one out he ate that one too. Then I put another one out, and he ate that one as well. I noticed he never came back out to get the fourth one.....and after another day, I began smelling his corpse...so it FINALLY work. So you may have to put more than one bait out, but it will definitely take them out.

Rodents are dying and stinking up the attic! I couldn't ask for more!Seriously. I'd originally put out the cute mouse poison feeder Tomcat's - to no effect.Realistically I think they're sized for voles and nothing bigger. And I think their bait isnt enticing.Well I'd been hearing some "bigger" scurring about and chewing in the attic. Just above the MBR. No bites in the Tomcats. Not a bite. And I did have some dead mice in the Victor Tin Cats. But no bites on the Tomcat poison.Bigger rodents? I don't know. Maybe too big for Tomcat? Well they say they fit.So I thought I'd try this Farnam Just One Bite II and put them in Easton 902 Well, I dunno, The Eaton 902 is bigger and lets bigger rodent (larger than voles and rats) and teh Farnam seems to be tastier.Indeed before the Eaton 902 showed up I hot glued a Farnam chunk into a soup can, put it into the attic, and overnight I'd had some nibbles. Right next to the long term Tomcats. Now I small dead rodents. I did find one soft one right near the Eaton 902 with Farnam. Flushed him. But, hey, I'm not in the attic much, the wife doesn't want spring traps due to the cat. So the occasional "Snort of success" in the attic just means victory!I've heard of "bait shyness" so maybe the Tomcat juts needs some peanut butter? Dunno. Maybe this eventually will? Doubting but I dunno. All I know now is the sweeet (!) smell of victory ... that will pass ;) in time! Actually I rarely have any odor - so the ones nesting inside the attic are gone and this is keeping the others from taking up residence.See the pictures. They tell it all:1 Can with Tomcat glued in bait chunk. A year old.3 Tomcat traps. A year old.1 EMPTY JT Eaton 902 station (my favorite - the 902) 2nd time empty in the same year1 Repeater trap (different area). These work very well - but you MUST check them at least weekly. Peanut butter no poison. Just too much maintenance for my problem level.
