Even though the product has the same model number and manufacturer stamped on it, and its description say replacement for ps4. it does not have the right connector.

This replacement cooling fan was an ideal way to repair and silence the loud and likely failing fan on my launch day PS4. Installation is moderately difficult as it requires disassembling most of the PS4, including optical drive, EMI shields and motherboard just to get at the fan. Follow the repair guide on iFixit or video tutorials before attempting. And you will have to remove and reuse the foam padding strip and foam pads from the existing fan and place on this replacement fan as that is not included. This fan is a relatively inexpensive replacement part to quiet a loud PS4, but it will take some time to perform the repair.

Does as it's intended. I also replaced all the thermal pads while it was open. The PS4 act and sounds as if it brand new now. It isn't the upgraded design but I couldn't even find a new one of those for sale anywhere.

easy installation on ps4 CUH-1001A no problem at all .replaced my old ps4 fan it was clean but it just stoped working .if u have a faulty fan would recommed getting this one quiet and does the job .

This fan is odd but works well. Itās just that it does not make any noise like the original but it does keep the PlayStation cool and does not over heat.

I didn't have any issue with my PS4 other than being loud. I was worried about overheating the PS4. I got this fan and replaced it and it was so much more quiet. Hopefully this will extend my console's life.
