It is cleverly designed in many respects. Unfortunately the control panel is a mess and very hard to use. Once set you are unlikely to want to change it. Cooling and freezing are very good. When delivered there was some damage to one corner and some cracked styrofoam inside. one slide of the handle was stuck but with a strong pull it was freed. Assembly of the handle was easy but the screws provided left some sharp edges. Used other screws for a better fit. I had thought of returning it but it seems fine now.

I’ve had the pleasure of using the F40C4TMP 12 Volt Portable Refrigerator, and I must say it’s a reliable companion for camping. You can fine-tune it based on your specific needs. It’s perfect for keeping food fresh, chilling drinks, or even freezing ice cream.Compressor Technology: The 51L compressor fridge ensures efficient cooling performance. It’s energy-efficient and maintains consistent temperatures, even in hot weather.Portability: Equipped with wheels, this fridge is easy to move around. Whether you’re setting up camp or loading it into your vehicle, the mobility is a big plus.Baskets and Organization: The two included baskets help you organize your items. You can separate fruits, veggies, and meats, making it convenient to access what you need.Power Options: It runs on both 12V/24V DC and 110V AC power. So whether you’re driving or plugged into a campsite hookup, you’re covered.Sturdy Build: The F40C4TMP fridge feels robust and durable. It can handle the bumps and jolts of travel without compromising its performance.Quiet Operation: Nobody wants a noisy fridge disturbing their peaceful camping experience. Hacer ruidos extraños y desgraciadamente no tengo manera de regresarlo porque se lo llevaron a otro lugar porque fue un regalo y ahora lo voy a tener que mandar reparar a ver si tiene arreglo

Seems to tick all the boxes on the features you’d want. Dual lids, adjustable lid direction, rubber wheels, quiet running, wire baskets, independent temperature control, a storage compartment for the cord so you always have both types with you, lighted interior. My first unit that arrived did not cool…so I reached out to F40 and they sent another replacement asap. It works perfectly. So not sure on reliability but the customer service was prompt and hassle free (thank you Emma!). If I can knock it on one thing it’s the handle…the latch in the closed position doesn’t fully catch…but whatever. Minor. Hopefully this unit lasts for a good while!

I spent over 2 weeks to research and finally bought this cooler. I received it 3 days ago. It's sturdy and value for money. It's come with 12V car charge but I use AC to test it.First I set one side to -10C and the other set to -15C with "Eco" mode and both sides put a 500ml water bottle but it didn't freezed (overnight). Then I changed both side to -20C and put the normal ice cube tray plus a 500ml water in small side and put a 500ml water bottle in the large size and changed from "Eco" to "Max". 8 hours later, all water freezes to become ice althought the temperature only showed -15C and -18C. The cooler work well (not much noise) and the price, size all good for us.By the way, the seller is excellent too (replied my request for only 1 day)!

I have been waiting for multiple uses to review this item, we bought it for a road trip to Tennessee and Kentucky during the hottest time of the year. we had stops planned along the way and needed to keep our groceries and drinks cold while we were out. I did purchase the battery pack along with the cooler but at one point, the battery had run out for a few hours by the time we got back to the hot black van and everything inside was still nicely cool and that is because it is well insulated and the lid seals closed nicely. there is a big side and a smaller side. either side can be used as a fridge or freezer. the freezer actually keeps things frozen. it is very sturdy and moves around nicely with the wheels. it comes with several attachments to either plug it in in the car or a regular wall socket so you can bring it in to the hotel and plug it in overnight. The controls on the panel work nicely and once you figure them out, they are easy to use. you will have to actually read the instructions on this one. Lastly, the extras, like the attached cutting board are a nice touch and come in handy on the road. I have had this unit now for about 6 months and it still works nicely. a great purchase

Great fridge/freezer!Happy with it so far, testing in my garage with my solar system in bench test before installation in my camper van ("Curly-Wurly").It was handled roughly in shipping with busted Styrofoam packing and a small, generally hard-to-notice crack in the lower compressor cover. It seems unaffected in operation (so far?!).It seems to draw less current that advertised, measuring less than 4 amps / ~ 50 watts in fast-cool mode. I don't have an accurate measurement on daily kWh draw, however is seems to be a good bit less than I had designed my system to supply. It seems I can get a good bit more than the expected 3.5-day run from my 280ah battery bank.I'm happy with the performance. It gets quite cold in a very reasonable time. It seems to hold well, even in my hot garage. My few gripes. Both, I sort of knew before buying.I wanted the capacity and the small price upgrade from the smaller size was worth it. It is, however, a bit too tall to sit upon! We won't sit on it regularly, however I had hoped it would work as an impromptu extra seat. My feet reach the ground (I'm 6'0") yet adding a cushion on top would make it a bit more uncomfortable. Even more so for a shorter person. The other issue is that the larger section will be awkward in digging items out of it's depths. I am looking to introduce a basket that will still allow a carton of milk underneath. Finding a suitable basket is a challenge, and there's no lip to hang it from. Both of these are *very* minor issues which I will overcome.I'm still getting used to the control panel lock-unlock method and wonder if this awkwardness is really needed compared to real yet slight possibility that the settings would get inadvertently changed. If I was stuffing it in the back of a car or jeep, it would seem more worth it. As I'm installing it in a van, there is less chance of accidental button presses. In the end, I'll rarely ever change the settings, so it's not a problem.I had one instance of it seeming to "forget" my settings after an extended time powered off. Otherwise, it has worked flawlessly, and I wonder if this might have been a one-time fluke perhaps caused by a power fluctuation in my testing setup. It would be nice to easily lock the handle in the retracted position, as I plan to use it to move the fridge around inside my van more than outside. I'll come up with a solution.I am otherwise very happy with the tests so far. I'm enjoying free-cooled drinks during my testing. I keep rotating "blue freezies" from this freezer to our home fridge just to keep a thermal load going for test purposes. It's working well. I love the separate, reversible lids. I can't imagine opening the freezer every time I want something from the fridge (will reduce the amount of defrosting and "freezer burn"!). The built-in lights are useful. So far, quite pleased! Recommend buy!
