This gripper is incredibly effective, even in tight spaces. A full bottle of Goo Gone had fallen behind my water heater. I knew it was in the far right corner of a very tight closet space. I couldn’t see it, and I couldn’t reach it from either side, as the water heater takes up most of the closet. It was too heavy for the gripper I had. I couldn’t pick it up. With this product, I was able to reach all the way around the tight space behind the water heater into a completely blind corner, get ahold of the bottle securely, and pull it right out. It took less than a minute. Excellent design, easy to use, and can pick up a reasonably heavy object with ease.

I bought this for my husband which has a handicap. He absolutely loves it. Able to pick up items he can't. It is very durable and very functional. Very easy to use and accurate. The size is a bit big but think you can shrink it down just haven't yet.

I have owned an EZPik reacher before but our RV has claimed it and needed another. Now they come foldable and am so pleased how easy it is to use and then store after. Being not mobile, the 24" is ample length for me to grab items that are just out of my reach.

My favourite brand for grabber tools - easiest and comfiest trigger/handle for me, someone who has sensory and pain and weak muscle difficulties. The grabber I had before this had a nice flashlight feature but the big several-ridge/bump "ergonomic" style trigger/handle hurts my hand no matter how I tried to hold it (and is a common style) AND was so much harder to squeeze which also made it hurt worse and caused worse hand fatigue much faster. HUGE improvement with this style and brand.I bought this when I was living in an RV, and unfortunately both this and the other one broke where they fold during that time. One would have been fine if I didn't leave it unfolded in that very shakey and cramped situation I think, and the other, I think the EZPIK, broke pretty quickly when my dad tried to get and something far under my bed. It was incredibly disappointing, but I actually think it was a fluke. They have either improved their design and/or haven't had any issues yet with my new ones cause I'm no longer in an RV. (And will use old one for under bed just in case. 😝)Even with the break, we just taped it up and kept using it luckily and being home bound and in a house not on wheels now, I can more easily just leave them unfolded, which I prefer. I worry a little about potential snaps if they fall in general or from earthquakes but once they're all on hooks that'll be less of a worry. For the one I do leave folded sometimes since it's cramped space, hung by my toilet, I like that the grabber isn't touching the handle when folded up cause I'm germaphobic and use it to pick up trash from floor and push down trash in the cans to make space. It just has to be facing vertically. I never knew how to rotate the claw but kinda sorta figured it out recently -- hold the trigger down then you can move it?Didn't remember that I'd gotten 40 inch one before, have lost that first one. But I want to get another. It may also be more fragile when they are extra long, but the 36" ones have two folds and been working well with no issue. I'm 5'6" (and my parents are shorter and taller than me and all have back pain amongst other things that make it hard to bend) and 36" works pretty well for all of us -- works well for me both sitting and standing, reaching up to high shelves and down to floor (and across the room somewhat but 40+ inch could be more useful for that for even farther range.)I can pick up small bits of debris/trash instead of sweeping or vacuuming or squatting) bending/touching floor which is fantastic.I struggled to pick up a thin cardboard thing but was and to do it when i held down one end with my foot!I can pick up a lot of products in the bathroom and kitchen.I struggle to pick up heavy things with it -- a comfy material over some of the pole would be a nice improvement for when I need to add more support and shift weight with my other hand to get heavier stuff -- and also a lock feature would be incredibly helpful for that and in general. I've only seen lock feature on one brand in here and it can scrape your hand so it looks bad and hope more brands add this feature in the future. And would love if they sold different colours and ones with more coloura instead of mostly silver and black!

Excellent gripper with rubber porcupine type, tip gripper. The rod is a metal tube which can hold weight. We really like the foldable feature with the ability to hang this on a nail or hook for storage until you need it. My wife is under 5’ ( 1.52 meters ) and has trouble reaching things on our upper cabinets and shelves, even with this, but less so now. Reaching things behind heavy furniture is easier since this has clips that can hold a small flashlight when in use. ( the clips hold the folded part of the device when folded ) I included some pictures. The flashlight I used is a Maglite and I had to use a rubber band to hold it in place, but included this to help you understand what I improvised. The camera compensated for the low light and the surroundings look brighter than actually were.Update; Jan 25th. 2022: this thing broke! The grabber is all plastic except for the metal tube. The part that folds, broke apart when I went to unfold it. I redact my recommendation for this product. The hinges should be made of metal and not plastic. See newly attached photos. Notice the screw? That is the hinge point and the bit of plastic sticking up broke off. I had to tape it and zip tie the plastic hinge tube to hold it together because otherwise the tube is held together only by the wire for the grips.2nd. Update; April 19th. 2022:Seller sent me a free replacement. It’s longer than the previous version which my wife of under five foot finds extremely helpful. So far this unit has held up to frequent, almost daily use. The other grabber we had to zip tie and gorilla tape the center and is only useable for VERY lite use picking up rubbish. These things can pick up items like a glass jar of under 5 lbs. and such but make sure you have a good grip.If not then glass will slip out because the grips are only at the tips but the rest is bare metal. This item is designed for lite, home use only.UPDATE 5/9/23: the replacement we were sent has been holding up to constant, home life use and has not disappointed like the 1st. item so therefore I have increased the rating of this product.
