The wife is very short and often finds items on her shopping list on the upper shelves. She can't reach them, so she brings one of these that she keeps in the car to grab those needed items. She even checked with the stores she goes to and none had a problem with her bringing this into the store.

I'm sorry, these grabbers are strong on the handle, ( I have arthritis in my hands, ) They are very hard to grab, also the bottom is to wide, I personally can't use them, for the price is OK, I will give them away to someone that can use them.

I glued a medium sized N52 magnet to one of the claws, because it needed that. We used these to try and pick up apples that had fallen off of our tree yesterday. And, I've used it for pine cones, and other things to pick them up. My overall opinion is that if you are looking for quality, that's going to last - this is NOT it.It will work for awhile, but mine is already starting to get sloppy, and it won't last more than probably one more season, maybe two before it will need to be replaced.

I have one of these in my room and one in my SUV. They are very easy to use and very light. They are helpful to reach things but one annoying thing is they come apart easily and that can lead to them getting snapped or broken.

This set of reachers was SO AFFORDABLE that I assumed they would not be high quality. WRONG! Even though they fold, they are very sturdy. They work as well or better than any I have had before. I feel these will last for a long time.

This is a great grabber. Had no trouble picking road side trash. Very comfortable to use and even folds in half. And you get two for 1/2 the price of one in the box stores. Very satisfied
