This is the second time I've purchased this. I own 3 vacuums and this little sweeper does a better job at getting the dog hair off my rugs than any of the vacuums.

I am very satisfied because I have several no slip mats, a runner and a decorative rug I use it for. It works Great an those from tracking bird seed in to spilling laundry cleaner all over the place, and every thing in between. It does wort ok hardwood floors but takes a lot of sweeping back and forth. For me it is faster to use the vacuum or dust mop. I really appreciate that it folds for storing it out of the way, The included brush works nicely, especially for long hair. The brushes can be rolled by fingers to get it all. The down side is that the cleaner brush was inside the unit and is Very Tiny, it does not work well at all. I solved the problem with a stiffer paint brush I have for crafting.

I've had enough of those flimsy vacuums that seem to give up right when the warranty expires (see my eulogy/review for my two Hoover vacuums).So I went back to basics with this carpet sweeper. It's crafted from solid steel and features an adjustable-height pole made of four, 11-inch segments that screw together perfectly. Standing at 5' tall, I found three segments (42" from floor to handle top) just right for me.It effortlessly handles my carpets, and the color is simply stunning.I really appreciate its ability to stand independently without leaning on a wall or rolling away unexpectedly.Thoughtfully designed and built to last, it even includes a roller brush cleaning tool that works like a charm! Cleaning the roller brush with this tool is a breeze compared to my old vacuum.This may be the last carpet cleaner I ever need to buy!

Pros: Lightweight, small, and easy to move around. Very easy to assemble and use. Stores like a broom. Picks up a lot more than I expected. I find this easier than pulling out the vacuum, and it's a lot cheaper than a 'stick' vacuum, and no batteries to recharge or wear out.Cons: If you don't like getting hair out of the bristles on the brushes, this is not for you. Does require occasional maintenance (maybe once a week) to keep hair from clogging the brushes. The tool provided works well, but it's a bit messy. Hard floors don't work as well with this tool. Stick with a regular broom and dustpan for that.Overall, this is an old school carpet sweeper that works well even on apartment grade shag. It's a durable and well deigned tool that reminds me of Bissel sweepers from the 1980's. Made of metal, not cheap plastic that breaks easily. A big value for the price.

I am very happy with my EZ SPARES Quiet Carpet Sweeper recently acquired. This handy sweeper is keeping the floor of my small flat clean and tidy between weekly vacuuming. It is quick and easy to use and best of all it doesn’t require any power. I also appreciate that it takes up very little space to store.Great value and I highly recommend it.

UPDATEI'm late posting this important update b/c I kept forgetting. But every time I attempt to use thing Thang, I wld think about updating my review. This Thang STOPPED performing smoothly & efficiently after about 6 months. Now it hardly picking up anything. The one I bought a friend (different brand) a month after I purchased mine is still working great and he uses his more often than I do mine. My first exciting impression is GONE.I DO NOT RECOMMENDThis baby gets the job done, but it is a bit noisy.

I loved everything about it.It worked well on my carpet but not on my tile floor.Its light weight and easy to store.I store mine next to the fridge.It picks up my long hair and my pets hair too.Its easy to empty once you get the hang of it.Its so convenient to use. Im happy with it so far.

I love this manual Vacuum!!! I currently work at a state univerty cleaning classrooms etc. Originally they wanted us to sweep everything up with a broom and dust pan. Haha. What a joke! But, with this thing it makes my work much more easy and I'm being able to get a lot more done with it. I know a lot of people are complaining about the HANDLE breaking off? I noticed this my 2nd night of use. No worries. The actual sweeper itself disconnects from the handle to make it easier to clean. All you gotta do is bend the handle back into place and make sure it's nice and tight on the sweeping part. Since that 2nd night it's happened, it's been about a month now and I've had absolutely no problems with it. It's a great device and nice and quiet too! 😁
