I took a chance on this charger and I'm so glad I did, even though the review says it's not for the VM252 model. I recently lost my charger and could not find any other charger that would charge it up, and if I tried looking for a charger for the VM252, it gave me the magnetic charger, which is NOT the charger it came with. I don't understand why they continue selling a Mop with a part that is essentially no longer in circulation. I was having a hard time and was about to junk my new vacuum, when I decided to take a chance and buy it, even though it says this charger is NOT for the VM252 model. As soon as I got it, I plugged it in, and immediately the blue light started blinking, telling me it was charging. I tested it a short time later and sure enough, it started working again! I am super happy that I get to keep my vacumn and happy to have clean floors again. Again, since the description says it's not for the VM252, that would be up to you to decide whether to buy it or not, but I can't be the only person who loses a charger now and then, but definitely getting this charger is a better option than throwing away a perfectly good vacumn because the manufacturer no longer makes the original charger they sold yhe vacuum with, and this vacuum is only 4 months old.
