Very sturdy and hard enough not to dent or be flattened. It looks like it will hold up to heavy moisture areas and the extremes of outdoor weather. It is very thin on one side so you can level even the slightest wobble. The thickest side is probably only about 1/4 inch, so it probably wouldn't work for a largely unlevel surface unless you wanted to epoxy several together.

I ordered four packages of 20 but for some reason two of the packages had 3 packages of 20. I contacted Amazon and they said it may have been a packaging error keep in mind I had four separate orders with 20 per order 80 in total and ended up getting 180 in totalI am using them to level a modular home and they are wonderful no crushing easy to break I wish I had these from the very start

Easy to snap apart and work well. I liked them better than composite shims because I could use a hammer to tap these in place much easier.

Very happy with the Plastic Shims.I used these to level an outdoor kitchen. These shims are amazing! They had no problem sliding under a hardie backer board (the floor of the outdoor kitchen). I will also use them to level my spa. They are very strong, and seem durable. You can not go wrong with these.

Compared to wood shims these are expensive but they work great for leveling and shimmimg, are easy to shorten, won't split, and even weatherproof/rotproof for use in moist environments.
