If you have the room for these, they are very strong.

I bought these to repair stripped threads for carburetor studs in an aluminum intake manifold. I have a very expensive aluminum intake for a pulling truck that someone had stripped the mounting holes for the carburetor. It only took 20 minutes to install all four of them . They are very strong and work better than Heli-coils. We even used a carburetor flanged lifting plate to remove the 850 lb. engine from the truck with absolutely no problems. They are stronger than the original threads and will definitely last longer.

I used this to fix my beadlocks on my Jeep. Worked great, no issues months later.

These were exactly what I was needing to repair a stripped out thread in a roll bar on my Jeep. After tap out the hole to the proper size these when in extremely well. The walls of the roll bar are very thin and 1 of the inserts slipped. I was afraid the thin amount of metal might not be enough for the coating to securely adhere the insert. One worked as planned, the other i needed to use some JB Weld and that fixed the other one.
