I have 2 dogs that get tear/beard stains. I was hoping this would be the answer I was looking for. Unfortunately, it didn't help or make a difference that I've seen.

We tried daily application for over two months on our Miniature Schnauzer's beard, with no result whatsoever. Not worth the money, unfortunately. We should have heeded the warnings in the reviews, but decided to try it for ourselves anyways.

Have tried multiple things on our bichons mustache staining and this is the only stuff that works! You have to do it daily at first, and once the staining starts to disappear, you can do it less frequently. Love the eye envy products!

Keeps beard staining to a minimum even though she's a pretty sloppy eater. And she seems to like it because she comes to sit still when I say "let's spritz your beard."

I have a white Maltese, hair around mouth gets discolored. In a short time the dark hair is lightened. Use this several times a month.

I have a corgi pup that licked her paws and caused that red staining. Found this after some research and tried it. It took 3 weeks so it is not an overnight solution. You spray it on paws and face wherever the staining is. I rubbed it in and let it sit then took a clean towel and towel dried it then let her air dry her paws. With this product and giving her a prebiotic we were able to calm her itching down and get her paws back to pure white. I use this constantly on her paws even though we got it to calm down to keep maintain. It works but again it's not an overnight miracle. It takes time and you need to be faithful to the product. I bought another product from EYE ENVY as well and I use it to bathe her feet. That's where she gets usually itchy. This was used on a corgi and she's a show dog.

I’ve used this for a week so far. I spray it on my dogs muzzle every night before bed. He’s a poodle and developed very bad tear stains and saliva stains a month ago. I tried so many different products here on amazon and nothing worked (glad Amazon has a wonderful return policy). 3 years ago was when my dog first had the tear stains and saliva stains ,I used Ocubright. It worked quickly and the kept the stains away for 3 years because of the tylosin tartrate. I also used it for my Maltese, and his stains have not come back at all. Unfortunately it’s no longer ready available because of the FDA, but I hear some vets still carry it. My vet doesn’t so I had to buy a bunch of different things to try to get rid of the stains. So far, this is the only thing that works without tylosin. It’s already lightened the saliva stains a lot. It’s not white yet but the rust colored beard has faded to a very light color. I’m hopeful my dog’s face will be back to white with continued use. I will start using the eye envy formula for tear stains too.

Solutions for beard staining are as numerous and mostly useless as diet advice. There are any number of products that claim to remove stains, along with purified water and feeding something without beet root or grain. I found them totally ineffective. This product works, although I'll be darned if I know why: the ingredients looks to be typically holistic woo. The big advantage of this is that it's easy to apply and apparently tasteless. But you need to use a lot, for a long time, and it's expensive.I originally bought the smaller 4 oz bottle and used it more or less consistently for a while until our routine went through some upheaval and I stopped. It didn't eliminate all of the staining but enough so that after things settled down, I bought another bottle, this time the large 8 oz.I used it consistently once a day for four months and now the staining is almost completely gone, enough so I don't mind it. I sprayed each side of my white terrier's mouth once a day, four or five sprays on each side. The company recommends that the application be almost dripping. Emma would always lick where I sprayed but the liquid seems tasteless and according to the company licking doesn't keep the product from working. The thing is, it took almost four months and 4 oz of product to work. So $15 worth. People who give up after using this for two days aren't giving it a chance and people who claim it worked after two days, I don't believe. I think that you have to be using it while new hair grows out for you to see the difference.I would recommend buying the larger size, which works out to be cheaper per application. Once the stains go away you 'll want to keep spraying a few times a week to keep them away. I think the larger bottle could last almost a year if you used it everyday for several months and then every other day for a longer period of time. If you buy the smaller bottle I think you'd use up the entire thing in "phase one" and have to buy it again for maintenance.I really don't want to become an expert on this subject. Given how easy this is to use and eventually effective, I'd rather just spend the money.Your mileage may vary. :)
