The eye doctor uses digital screens now but I like having this at home, I'm over the hill now and spend a lot of time in front of screens so this is good exercise for the eyes and helps keep track of my vision. Helpful as well for my wife trying out different off the rack glasses.

This item is a eye chart used for eye exams. It comes with an eye occluder (eye cover) and a pointer. The occluder and pointer look rather cheap in terms of the black plastic used. The occluder came with a handle that was slightly curved. Also included are some adhesive dots to mount the chart on the wall. It is being marketed as a professional eye chart and associated tools, but it is much smaller than any eye chart I have seen at various eye doctors I've been to and I wouldn't be impressed if my doctor used the included plastic tools. I think it should marketed for casual use at home. I will bring the occluder to the motor vehicles office when I get eyes tested again for my license, as last time when they told me to cover my eye I pressed on it too hard and couldn't see well from it. I almost failed the eye exam. Anyhow, I like this chart for my home use where I can test the family and keep an eye on all of our eyes. The price point is pretty reasonable. Overall, I don't consider this a professional tool that I'd see at my optometrist, but I do like it for my own home use and I think many other folks would too.
