Better than expected. Gives a nice cushion to seats that are hard on my back. Stays soft in very cold weather. I use it ice fishing.

I am very happy with this slip-resistant cushion. It's very comfortable to sit on and fits most seats perfectly. It's firm and sturdy yet super soft for sitting on for long periods. I think it's priced fairly and I would recommend it!

It is very comfortable and did work very well, stayed in place, didn’t slip about, has holes that release water and is a good quality material. Those are all the good points. My only negative is if you need to hike a distance it is somewhat heavy. Overall good product.

I recently bought a folding kayak and the seat bottom provides minimal support. On longer paddles I found it was tiring. The kayak company provides a gel overlay with some foam at a significantly higher price than this.This has a mesh overlay on the top and sides that will keep you from sticking to the gel. The bottom is more of a solid fabric with some anti-slip markings to help hold it in place. The cover can be removed for washing if necessary.The gel insert is comfortably shaped (see the product picture) and offers a wider and longer base than the minimal seat included with my folding kayak. It also added about 3/4" in height, though I didn't find that to be a problem. I did raise the seat back slightly too compensate, however. On the other hand, when I placed it in my regular kayak that has a smaller cockpit, I felt it occupied too much space, making for a tight fit. That seat is naturally more comfortable, though, so I won't use it there.So, if you need some extra cushion and your kayak has an open cockpit or is sit on top style, this may be your solution!It also seems like it would work on an office chair without much problem, particularly if you can raise the armrests as well as lower the seat.

Not a lot to say, besides the fact that this is *much* more comfortable than sitting on the regular kayak seat. You're going to get wet in a kayak, and this won't prevent that, but of course that's not what it's for. It's for comfort, and that's what it provides.Recommended.

This worked great on my 3 hour paddle down the river this morning. A much better product than the first one I ordered. It provided cushioning but was still hard on the tailbone. I do wish it had loops on it so I could strap it to my paddleboard. No problems with it slipping though. It would be a nice precaution if I rolled the board.
