They have 3 layers:
The top layer is made of hypoallergenic microfiber fabric.
The middle layer has the filling.150 GSM polyester fiber fill. More than 2 times thicker than a regular pillow protector.
The bottom layer is also made of hypoallergenic microfiber fabric.

Great case covers. Quilting is richly done. I used mine to combine stuffing from 4 other pillows to make the comfortable firmness what I needed. No feathers leaked. These were perfect for the task. Zipper is good. Size is good value for money.

I liked the size of the pillow cases and the way the down pillow is protected without taking away from the down softness. I really like them.Edit: I use only gentle washes and gentle laundry detergent for everything. After the 1st wash, I noticed a big rip in the seam.
