Bought this thinking as much money as it cost it should last. I have a two year old Lab. 24 hours later and he chewed through one side already. The outside layer of wood is much thicker than inside. Which is not very thick at all. I know Labs like to chew, but thought it would last longer than it did. In my opinion save your money and spend it on something else.

These are nice but very small. I was at work when they were put together, I was disappointed in the size compared to the cost of them. If I could return them I would!

Easy to assemble, strong and durable enough for my huskies to lay on top or inside and they stay warm and dry.

Dog house is nice. I had it together with one Phillips screw driver in 15 minutes. Since I live in California I don't see the cedar (thin) wood being a problem as far as cold weather goes. I totally get you wanting something more insulated in colder environments. But its perfect for us. I recommend it for your dog/s in milder weather.

Metal frame was easy to assemble. Insulated wooden pieces were cut and sized correctly. The roof is hinged with a weather resistant surface. We’ve added a warming pad for cold winter nights (on a covered porch). Black lab immediately adopted it. I highly recommend this doghouse.

This dog house is okay. It barely fits my pit bull, for the price i expected it to be a little better than what it is but at least she has shelter from the rain or sun while i am at work.

This doghouse is attractive on our deck. We put a plush bed inside and a heating pad for comfort. Many dogs want to spend most daytime hours outdoors. This is a perfect solution. It’s a roomy house. We have a Corgi and she prefers the extra room.
