Basic fruit picker that works for its primary purpose - it did make life easier collecting lemons and peaches in our backyard. However there are lot of questions and annoyances. Here we go:1. Assembly is a giant pain. There is an 8 step manual that is clear enough. In practice, however, there's the bolt that you need tighten with the basket already on, but not yet tightened. It's nigh impossible to do this. The nut does not have washer nor is it a wide base nut like what is shown in the product listing and in the manual. It is a regular #8 bolt & nut. The problem is that because the basket is not yet tightened, it keeps falling off while you're trying to tighten that bolt and, paradoxically, the bolt doesn't have much to do with keeping the basket tight. It's just there to make sure the basket doesn't rotate or gets stuck in the tree. Eventually I got it, but it took me 20 minutes.2. The wrench provided is garbage. It's very thin, but more to the point, it's larger than what's needed for the nut, so nut just keeps on turning like nothing is happening. Had to utilize my own wrench & power tools to get the job done.3. The stainless steel pole may seem like a good idea but in reality it's not. It's extra thick and is actually quite heavy. The product listing says it makes strong enough to hold 15 lbs of fruit. I haven't tested this, but I entirely believe it. It's thick & sturdy. However, it also adds about 8 lbs of weight itself. I don't know about you, but I don't intended to collect 15 lbs of fruit in the catch basket at one go. The basket is large enough to hold 2 apples but that's about it. Let's be generous and say that's 2 lbs. I really don't see needing much more than that. In the mean time, you're lugging the extra 8 lbs of pole the whole time with you. It'd be much better if we the handle was wood or just PVC plastic. This is the case where heavy duty is overkill.4. This one is actually a plus. I got a 5ft size. Turns out that just refers to the pole length with full segments. It does not include the basket or the pole segment that the basket is attached to. If you include those, it's about 1.5ft longer. I'm assuming the same math applies to other sizes.

I recently purchased the Fruit Picking Tool and it has made my fruit harvesting tasks much easier and more efficient. This tool is designed with a long, adjustable pole, which is perfect for reaching high branches without the need for a ladder. The pole extends smoothly and locks securely at the desired length, giving you confidence as you pick fruit from tall trees. The basket attached to the end of the pole is well-designed, with soft, cushioned edges that prevent bruising the fruit as you pick. It’s spacious enough to hold multiple pieces of fruit at once, which reduces the need to go up and down the tree frequently. The built-in finger-like prongs make it easy to grasp and pull the fruit off the branches without damaging them. One of the best features of this tool is its lightweight yet sturdy construction. After an hour of use, my arms didn’t feel fatigued, and I appreciated how easy it was to maneuver. The tool feels durable and well-made, giving me confidence that it will last through many seasons of fruit picking. In terms of assembly, it was straightforward and required no tools, which was a bonus. The pole sections fit together securely, and the basket attaches firmly with no wobbling or risk of detaching during use.The Fruit Picking Tool is a must-have for anyone with fruit trees. It’s a simple yet effective tool that makes the task of harvesting fruit much more enjoyable and less physically demanding. Highly recommended!

You can reach another 56 feet but you still can’t reach high enough to get the ones off the top

The package came in new condition. It is heavy. Useful to pluck fruits from tall trees. Other than being heavy it's otherwise good to use.
