A Couple of Things to Note
- 1. You will get some branches and leaves which are easily removed while washing the berries. It is not selective so every berry on the branch will be picked.
- 2. Some may not be quite ripe and other may be over ripe. Since we use them in baking and jams this is not an issue for us. Even so If you are very picky you can sort them once you get home.
- 3. If the berry picker needs cleaning, just rinse with some water or put it in the dishwasher.

I'm sure this would work excellent for other berries and cherries, however it didn't work for my currents so I returned it.

It certainly makes berry picking easy. It does not work well for blueberries since it takes green ones, leaves as well as ripe ones.

Been wanting one of these for years. Picked the Jostaberries right off the bush with no problem. Wanted to try on blackberries but the critters beat me to it.

I wish I had bought one of these years ago! It makes berry picking so easy and the tongs catch the berries gently, it drops right in the bucket without mush or falling. Even better there’s a guard inside so if you turn the picker the berries don’t fall out!

Currants: that was a surprise to me. Easy to strip off a liter of golden currents, check for defects and have in freezer within 10 minutes ... a task that took an hour "by hand".Metal comb is very strong.Blueberries. If canes have mixed ripe / unripe berries, it takes some care. But, if canes are full of ripe berries, this picker is a real time saver. Ok. With full ripe blueberry canes, you could mimic the action by hand, but based on the currants alone, it is worth the price,

Loved this device. Usually picking our black and red currants is a pain. This device helped me pick faster so I could can the fruit up quickly. Really great product

The rake tines are too wide for efficiently harvesting our small wild PNW huckleberries, many of the wild huckleberries fall through the tinesand onto the ground, its probably better for harvesting larger garden blueberry varieties.

Om det var att den förpackats snävt och plasten deformerats pga av frakten eller om den var så skev/omformad ifrån produktion vet jag inte - men produkten jag fick hem hade knappt varit användbar. Men, jättesmidigt att kunna skicka tillbaka så enkelt med Amazon.

I appreciated that this picker helped me pick blueberries super fast. Unfortunately, any time saved picking was spent separating the leaves twigs and green berries from the ripe ones. I think it is perfect if your harvest is done and all the berries are ripe or if you don’t mind picking the green ones. It cleaned up well and the wires maintained their shape.
