The Extech PH110 Waterproof ExStik pH Meter is a refillable pH electrode that can be reused by refilling the reference solution once it depletes. It obtains a continuous high accuracy using fresh reference solution and has fast and easy steps to refill your electrode. This meter eliminates the concern of the electrode shelf life. The 1, 2 or 3 point calibration automatically recognizes the buffer solutions. The user must order the pH buffers separately. The Extech PH110 Waterproof ExStik pH Meter comes complete with the refillable pH electrode, a 1.5mL bottle KCI, two reference junctions, two removal tools, a protective cap, a sample cup, four 3V CR-2032 batteries, and a 48 inch (1.2m) neck strap. So, at first, I didn’t like it because I thought it wasn’t working. However, I realized I was using it wrong. Writing this in case someone does the same. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU CALIBRATE, THAT THE PH STICK SAYS “CALI”. Anyways, this is a great PH meter. It not only works for liquids but also thick creams.

Very easy to use, the meter is pretty great at letting you know what it needs and when it’s time. I haven’t had any issues with freezing or calibration. After having this for quite a while, I do highly recommend.

I am not a fan of the $100 hand held meters. They tend to calibrate fine but the readings drop over time. Replace the sensor, calibrate and the reading goes up by as much as 0.5 pt on the same fluid.

This meter did not calibrate, even after following the troubleshooting instructions directly from Extech's website. I turned the meter upside downand tapped on the tip with the pad of my finger and the glass on the tip broke. I didn't know glass could be this thin (it broke) not durable in any way shape or form. Not sure what environment this was designed for but certainly not mine. I shipped it back for a refund. If you ever dropped this it would surely break the glass.

This is a great pH meter! I've wasted money on cheap Milwaukee brand meters that broke in a week. This Extech meter is built much better. The module mine came with, had a broken reference junction cap. The top was broken off, with the threaded part still inside, so I could not remove it to refill the reference solution. I emailed Extech, got a response that day, they shipped me a new module at no charge.I'm a homebrewer and I use this meter to measure pH in kombucha, jun, cider and ale at this time.

I bought this to use for cheese making, and it has fulfilled all my expectations, including the ability to check the pH of the cheese itself, rather than just the whey as most other meters are limited to.I can only hope that it will prove as reliable in the long run as it has in the short run, providing reliable information to 2 decimal points, which comes in very handy.I love it and would recommend it to anyone needing such accuracy and reliability.
