I love being able to drink the water from the tap. No more lugging home water bottles. It was pretty easy to put together.

I'm a huge water drinker and can easily distinguish water that is not so good quality. I used to use a pitcher filter but you need to constantly fill it up and change filters often in order to have a great tasting water. It’s a headache! This filtration system is a win!It has an easy-to-follow step-by-step installation instruction. Set up was easy and quick. You have to follow all the steps in order to get great and clear water.I am very happy with the purchase; it filtrates well and quick. The tank fills up quickly so you never have to worry about running low. The taste is great, incomparable to other filters I have used so far. Highly recommend!

I didn’t post a review when I first bought it, I’ve waited a year and here are my thoughts1. Filtration: does everything it says it does and does it well. This was a gift to my in laws and they didn’t change any filter for a year. DO NOT FORGET TO CHANGE THE FILTERS. See my pictures.2. Taste: like the fountain of youth. The water is almost sweet and tastes better than purified water.3. Ease of set up: not the easiest, but also not too difficult if you’re mildly competent. The documentation they give you is very extensive. Read it front to back before you even start unwrapping everything else. The hoses are color coded so you’d have to be thick in the head to mess that part up. The only part that may give you trouble is drilling into your drain pipe and counter top of you do not already have a hole for a faucet.4. Changing filters: easy. Took me less than an hour.5. Noise: can make noise due to air on first set up but it goes away after flushing.6. UV bulb. It gets hot, like others have said. Honestly, it’s my only regret. We’re on city water and frankly, unless you have a very specific need for it, you probably don’t need it. Also, unless you’re an electrician or have any handyman skills, you have to find a way to route power to the bulb that doesn’t require unplugging your garbage disposal. I wish there was an easier solution but it is what it is. What’s great is that you can buy the one without the UV, and if you find yourself needing it, you can buy it separately and add it on.7. Size: Fits perfectly under the sink with plenty of room to spare. Make sure you layout the filter and measure the hoses before you start just cutting and connecting8. Leaks: no faulty fittings or leaks. Any leaks I did find were my fault for not connecting the hose properly or wrapping enough plumbers tape. I caught it on initial set up and it hasn’t leaked at all in the past year. Even still, it has a leak detection fail safe which I tested and works perfectly. Conclusion: 9.5/10, definitely recommend. I bought 2 and both have held up really well. You probably don’t need the UV, but to each their own.

Excelente producto.

This is the 11-stage RO filter setup with UV sterilization and alkaline remineralization stages. Everything is pre-packaged in a way to ease installation but kind of a pain if you're planning to add a permeate pump or branch out the lines before/after the remineralization stage (to get regular RO water for things like a coffee maker or other cooking needs while getting mineralized water for drinking).Overall, while it's assembled rather well, it's still quite bulky. I was surprised that the 4-gal tank isn't the most imposing component. The 3-stage primary filters at the bottom of the kit dominate the space. The RO, UV, ALK, and PAC units mounted horizontally on top are quite a bit smaller. That said, the entire kit will fit in the cabinet under a common double sink under the one WITHOUT a garbage disposal. If you have a garbage disposal under one sink, space will be tight (at best) on that side so plan to install on the opposite side.I'm pretty bad at plumbing but installation was actually rather easy thanks to most of the work already being done with the 1/4" tubing and quick-connect fittings. It took me MAYBE 90 minutes start-to-finish (plus the fill/flush process afterwards). The hardest part was connecting the tubing to the included faucet which, in hindsight I could have made easier by fishing the tube up through the retention nut, the countertop, the top washer then onto the faucet stem before securing the faucet to the countertop. Instead of the included drain "saddle" I opted for a "Y" tube that fits inline with my dishwasher drain into my garbage disposal - no cutting required.I opted to add a permeate pump, as well. That requires some re-routing of some of the pre-installed tubes but isn't all that complicated once you understand how it works and where each tube comes from and goes to. Overall, that reduces the wastewater by a significant amount (sorry - I don't have before/after stats). It also reduces the total fill time from 2-3 hours to about 35 minutes and makes flushing/priming new filters a LOT quicker.I did have one faulty connection in the system that needed to be fixed and it was one of the factory-installed ones. The "T" that feeds the PAC (the final filter) and the tank wasn't seated correctly and leaked straight away. I simply removed the tube, re-cut the end, and reinstalled it - job done! No leaks of any kind after that.I also opted to NOT physically mount the unit inside the cabinet. I know filter changes are going to be a pain so I simply left it sitting on the bottom of the cabinet with enough slack in the tubes to remove it to the floor in front of the cabinet. From there, I can disconnect all my tubes that go back under the sink and re-work the filters up on the counter or in the sink, as needed. The municipal water supply where I live is actually already pretty good. I just wanted better tasting water. We've used a drip-type filter for a few years and it does an okay job but I'm still finding a slightly "off" taste occasionally. This RO system TOTALLY removes any hint of weird odors/tastes and is better than many bottled waters I've had. Fiji is as close as it gets.Get yourself a glass pitcher, fill it regularly, and keep it chilled in the fridge. OR get a "T" tap off the feed to the RO faucet and feed it into your in-fridge water supply for the best ice and water you'll ever taste.
