I had to return a more expensive cage cover that didn't have a snug fit and decided to try this one out- it works perfectly!! it's all black, not a shiny silver inside that was keeping my conure awake, and has magnetic corners to help snap it very tightly to any part of the cage, ensuring no light comes in from underneath so that my sensitive conure doesn't sit on the bottom of the cage being irritated by the speck of light.I also like how easy it is to open up one or both of the sides with the strong magnet in a second instead of other designs that require you to roll it up then buckle the extra fabric.

If your bird or birds are chirping too early in the morning, waking you up sooner than you want this is the cover for you to get for their cage!!.I recently acquired four parakeets and their chirping bothered my roommate a lot; I was concerned that I would have to rehome them. I saw this birdcage cover and decided to try and see if it would help. (I had been using a table cloth over the cage, but that wasn’t working.)There is a little play top perch on top of the cage so the cover part that goes on top doesn’t cover it totally because that’s in the way, but it still keeps them quiet and really amazed me. This cover actually does block out the sunlight therefore, they don’t start chirping. They stay totally quiet until I take the cover off the cage. If you’re having a trouble with noisy birds this is your solution! I highly recommend this product!!

I have been buying just about everything for my home and life from Amazon since Amazon was Amazon. I like what I get. BUT. This has got to be the worst product I have EVER gotten from Amazon.The design is terrible. I bring it out of the bag - it’s way more fabric than is needed - and it has these clips that keep getting hung up on the cage as I follow tedious instructions on how to wrap piece #1 around the cage and secure it before adding piece #2, the top. Two pieces that don’t work together.The fabric is not breathable at all. It is stiff tightly woven material, like a rain jacket, and it’s very noisy while wrapping, scaring the birds. The top doesn’t fit the bottom, even with the velcro tabs. I would have to rig this thing up with clamps to get it to simply drape over the cage. It is supposed be black out but in no way does it fit well, having gaps all around the top, allowing light in.This cover is just a terrible design. I could not imagine what I would go through each night and how disturbed my bird would be in the ten or so minutes I’d spend working it to stay on.No thank you. I am not happy with this product at all. It has no redeeming qualities and I would advise that no one waste their time and money. There are much better, simple one piece designs out there. I chose the wrong awful frustrating product.

It fits perfectly just too panel was maybe a little too large it over laps and the cage has bars around the top. But still works perfectly for the cage. I love the fact it has a top panel because my youngest cockatiel tends to pester the two older ones and this blocks him from doing so. I have three males cockatiels and two are in mating season so you can see the struggle. The medium size one was too small for the medium cage. Even the panel was to small and not wide enough.

Our 10 year old Sun Conure has chewed his way through countless blankets/throws, but has now met his match with this cover! The hooks do not work on his cage, but the magnets are strong enough to secure it in place. He’s a fussy bird if he doesn’t get his 12 hours of sleep, so his blackout curtains fill the bill (or beak lol).

We have an African Grey and an African Senegal - two cage sizes. I measured very carefully and bought the right sizes. So many times these things are not fitted right. I was very happy when I unpacked it - the big magnets are a huge hit! Makes it incredibly easy to swing the cover open and it stays nicely pulled back with the magnet. The top cover as a detachable accessory is brilliant - our birds love to be surrounded by dark with the top off. Very well made. Nice and light. No chemical smells. Mahalo from Hawaii.

This is a 2 piece cover. Which I thought was going to be a problem at first. It is not! It is a HUGE plus! The sides are one large piece that has 4 hooks and 4 magnets to attach to the cage at the top and wraps completely around the cage or you can open just the front or just the sides and front. Perhaps you only want to block one side of the cage...you can use it easily however you want to. The top is a separate piece. It attaches with velcro. The cover is not see through so being able to remove just the top for light on the first day we brought our baby birds home seemed to comfort them. We put the heated perch and heater that goes with it on the side of the cage and the cover held the heat in really well. That was in a large flight cage too. The versitality of this cover is well worth it.
