Where the vine bends when it’s in the packaging, is broken, it doesn’t bend well, it’s okay, I like it for my crested gecko tank though!

My crested gecko loves climbing this and I love how big it is, his enclosure is very tall and this fits well, it's also bendable/shapes well so I can switch it up sometimes. It's not spiky and as soon as I got it, he climbed onto it. Great product. 10/10

Best snake hammock so far. With in 3 minutes of installing this vine, my daughter's python came out of his rock and sprawled out on his new lounger.I attached it using 1inch cable tie squares on 3M adhesive tape. Wipe the glass with an alcohol wipe and allow to dry for a minute for best adhesion.Hope this helps cheers!

I love these sooo much, I use these in my terrariums for different species of gecko. They look great and they’re pretty sturdy (just don’t fold it too much). I developed a technic to hold it however I want and It’s a game changer! Just get yourself some cheap suction cups with the little hooks and attach a piece of string around the vine where you want it to come close to the glass!!

Wirklich gutes Produkt wenn man weiß, was man damit macht!

I purchased his on sale for $7.99 with prime shipping and boy I have been very satisfied! As many reptile lovers know, shopping for these items can get very expensive quick! Especially if you purchase through a local store.I want to get as much as I can for as little as I can and this did the trick! The vine is 6 feet long and I was able to divide it between my two Large Rubbermaid All Access Bins. The vine is very bendy and holds its shape very well! I just drilled small holes and used black zip ties to hold them in place and they have not moved at all, even with my babies climbing them! They love it and I love it as even though it is fake it looks very real and very nice! Just what I was looking for! (I ordered the size small) Thank you! I also received this and my flukers leafy vine a day early!!

I love these vines! Four years later and I can still easily bend them. They hold up every well for long periods of time. I've accessorized them with intertwined vines for a more natural look. I was initially worried about the coating flaking off but that hasn't been an issue even with the washing. Aspen and coconut husks (when dried) to get attached to the vine. It's easy enough to brush or pull off, but I felt that was worth noting for aesthetic purposes. They're very easy to use and I normally have them doubled over each other or twisted together. They can also hold up being placed in a loop and sitting vertically. There's so many possibilities with this product. That makes it fun to play with while also fulfilling your decorating needs. My snake also loves to climb on them.

I've been using Exo Terra Vines for my gecko tank since 2004. They're great quality and perfect for adding extra climbing terrain above his cave, as well as making the whole environment look a lot less empty. The texture looks and feels very realistic, and has a really good grip. Highly recommended! The large size comes packaged as one reeeeally long bendable tube. Since I only have a 10 gallon tank, I prefer to fold it in half, twist the 'legs' together, and loop it around in a loose spiral to maximize the space. Sometimes I make interesting kinks and shapes to change up the look, but mainly so *I* don't get bored. My leopard gecko couldn't care less - he's happy as long as he can poop from a decent altitude. :p The smaller sized vines don't need to be twisted the same way unless you want added sturdiness for heavier lizards.NOTE: Be careful when bending the vines, because bits of the coating can flake off pretty easily, especially from the larger size. It doesn't ruin the product, but you may need to Swiffer the floor afterward. Also don't bend it too often in one spot, because like any coated/insulated wire (*cough* Apple *cough*), the tube itself can crack with too much stress. The surface is a magnet for droppings (both lizard and cricket), so I replace the vines every time I do a full cleaning of the tank. But that's not enough to take a star off, since they otherwise last a heck of a long time. The photo I uploaded features the smaller vines. (My gecko is ~9" head to tail for comparison.) The large vines are about 1.5x the circumference.

To start I like to be positive! The pros of this product are good! Good length, flexible, sturdy, nicely colored. I bent mine in half and twisted it together works perfectly for me! Looks natural once incorporated into the decor of the enclosure. The con, when you mess with it, in example bending and twisting, there are almost crumb sized bits that fall off. But once it falls off and you leave it alone I haven't noticed anymore bits. My chameleons walk all over it and it doesn't crumb. Overall very good product to add more climbing space in a natural looking manner.
