Bracket replaces broken exhaust manifold bolts and clamps the exhaust manifold down securely to the cylinder head to eliminate exhaust leaks.
It is NOT necessary to remove the cylinder head or drill out the broken bolts!

Who knew this would be easy. Yes you need to be able to get into tight spaces to attach it but once installed its very effective (until your other manifold looses its bolts) now i need to buy another one for the other side. @ 2 years installed still holding tight.

Fits great, that driver side rear is hard to get but it's definitely doable. Probably took 20 minutes of fiddling. 2005 Silverado 2500 with the 6.0

Bought this clamp for my 2013 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 6.0 Litre engine. The driver's side rear exhaust manifold bolt broke off as this is a common thing with these engines. I looked at other clamps costing near $100, but I ended up purchasing this one on a whim. I thought that it might not be as strong as other brands but when it arrived I found it to be built pretty strong. As my truck is a 4x4 I could not do this work myself on driveway ramps because the front axle driveshaft was in the way along with a heat shield blocking access from below. I took it to my mechanic and it was done within an hour while on the hoist. So far this clamp has stopped the [ticking] exhaust leak and saved me a lot of money replacing the broken bolt.

This was a great product! Only took 10 min and it actually worked. Probably not a permanent solution, but who knows. $20 is way better than $1500 quote to drill the broken bolt and do a whole replacement.

I used these on my 2005 Avalanche 5.3L V8 and while tightening one of the two up the bolt broke way too easily from the bracket. You get what you pay for, and this is cheaper than others available. Best to find one that can be tightened without worry.

Perfect fit, sealed up my exhaust manifold to the head where I had a broken stud I could not get to with the motor installed in the truck (2008 GMC Sierra 6.2 denali).

Decent made product did not like the bolt head size due to the paint on bolt threads and head. Size 16mm and 12mm bolts. Not common to the rest of the truck. No type of instructions given or guidance for installation.
