Wanted to test my 2012 Nissan upstream and. Downstream pressure (before and after 1st catalytic converter) and the threads would not work. I tried an engine compression tester I owned and the threads did work. So I had to use that fitting and adapt this product to that fitting so it would work.

This is a useful tool if you are a DIYer and are dealing with plugged exhaust system.Assuming you can get your oxygen sensors out this will allow you to track down the location of the constriction without having to disassemble the system for a visual inspection, which can safe you tons of time and effort.However, I share some of the concerns of other reviewers here - the included gaskets and hose will not hold up to repeated use, so if you are diagnosing exhaust system regularly this is not for you.

Compared to my matco, it works just as well. It was able to accurately detect excessive backpressure from a clogged cat. Works great!

I haven't needed to use this gauge yet, but having a gauge to measure exhaust pressures will come in handy one of these days. The gauge itself seems to be well made and the hose looks like it can handle quite a bit of abuse.
