I wish there had been information regarding the diameter of the tip. One of our cats has a esophageal feeding tube, and they syringes we got from the vet are 30ml. The tips of those catheter tip syringes it into the feeding tube. These do not. They are too big, so I have to search for something else now.

Use these for oral medications for my horse...the off center tip make it easier to load without meds coming out the end before I finish. 😊

I use syringes like this to feed breakfast of pureed canned dog food to my 'almost 16 year old' Siberian husky. I've been doing this for quite a while now (she eats dinner on her own) and she accepts it very willingly. These syringes are cheaper and better than the ones I used to buy that went up in price. The size is perfect, and they last much longer. I get a lot of uses out of each one before it has to be discarded because the plunger eventually won't slide. Excellent product for me and my girlie. Bonus: my young dog is getting trained to accept the syringe *just in case* he might need that skill some time in the future. He willingly sits nearby and waits for his squirt of 'goodies.'

Bought to feed my geriatric 3 pound chihuahua. He eats a combination of puréed sweet potato, pumpkin, and other vegetables. They fit thru the hole of the syringe good and it makes feeding him a less messy affair.
