So disappointed. They are nice pants but the drawstring ripped off in the wash after child only wore this once! ☹️Editing my review and adding a star because I realize now that these are hand-wash only.Hand wash only for kid's clothes?! What a pain!!!

The quality is breathable. The fit is correct according to the chart. Pockets are nicely deep enough to carry a cell phone or a snack. Color is as advertised. The pants are really hard to wrinkle.

As a family we've gotten into hiking more and were looking for a nice pair of pants for my daughter. She has a lot of sensory issues due to a skin condition and so it's been very hard to find her comfortable clothes that keep moisture off her.These pants seem like they're going to work well. She says they're comfortable and lightweight and they seem water resistant although we encourage her to try to stay dry. The pants are fashionable as far as hiking pants go, but do seem functional and fit true to size.Overall, these are a good option if you're looking for a pair of hiking pants that won't break the bank.

I ordered the 12Y pants for an adult, petite woman: 5'3" tall, 110 pounds, waist of 24". They fit perfectly!About the pants: they are made of Dacron polyester, which is a specific, more expensive type of polyester with superior qualities to regular polyester. The fabric has a slight, 4-way stretch. It's light and soft to the touch. They don't rustle like cheap nylon pants. The hardware on these hiking pants is sturdy, and the stitching is small and precise. I could not be more pleased.Now, the measurements: the waist, with no stretch, comes in at 25.5" or so. I stretched it out to (what I consider) a maximum comfort level that wouldn't dig in, to about 28-ish, maybe a tad higher. The waist does expand completely to 38" to go over the hips. Remember, these are 12Y.Regarding the hips - at the widest point they are about 38", maybe a little bit more. The rise is 11". The widest part of the thigh is about 22.5". The inseam came in at 27.5".These are high quality hiking pants that, if they had a brand name and were displayed in a trendy outdoor equipment store - with an adult size label and a reflective logo - would sell for at least double the price. I consider them a super value, a bargain at the current price.

These are awesome lightweight parachute material styled joggers that will be a good option for warmer weather when in need of long pants. They do indeed fit large but given sooo many cool styles stop at 11/12 or the 13/14’s fit like 12’s, I, for one, am NOT complaining that there’s a brand attempting to be inclusive of the taller or larger littles. Some may need to size down and for others it may be a Godsend! Really love this green I got as well. Haven’t come across this color…in this size! Will match her Minecraft tee’s perfectly. As a matter of fact, the entire range of colors is particularly good. May have to circle back for another pair. Guess I’d go ahead and size down so she can wear down or pulled up like they are in the pics. This pair are def too baggy to stay up but I’m still a fan.

I received these thin and lightweight hiking pants through the Amazon Vine Voice program.The sizing on these works for young women or small adults. For example, the size 14 is equivalent to a size small adult woman pant. In fact, the 14 is baggy through the abdomen and hips and could possibly fit a woman size medium.The fabric is fantastic, as it has some stretch to it, and it dries very fast! Perfect for summer and hotter temperatures.I also like the numerous zippered pockets. The drawstring waist is fine along with the elastic waist. Very comfortable!! The only thing I dislike is the drawcord at the bottom of the leg or cuff. I will probably cut the cord off and wear the pants with a wider leg instead.Overall, these are reasonably priced, and a good value for the quality.

Bought these for my daughter for a 3 day back packing/camping trip and they performed wonderfully. My daughter loved that they protected her legs from any snags along trails while still being lightweight and comfortable, and not too hot to wear. Would purchase again.
