Got these on sale, hoping that they’d fit. She likes the Columbia pants for school as we live in a rainy area and they dry fast.

I love Columbia clothes, whether I get girls large or xs ladies (petite in pants). The price of these pants made getting girls a no brainer. The waist had elastic with buttons and belt loops, which I had to move to the 3rd hole. so the waist is generous. I also had to hem the pants 2 inches. The legs are a bit loose, which makes them very comfortable when hiking. When turned into shorts they are a bit shorter than I like as I prefer hitting my knee. The fabric is great and the blue is almost navy.

My 8 year old daughter likes these. Finally found a pair that fit acceptable. These have adjustable elastic in the waist that was able to cinch down enough (with a little room to spare) around her 21" waist and they are still just long enough for her 21" inseam.Plus they have a nice fit and don't look like MC Hammer parachute pants.They lack back pockets, which is a little bit of a bummer.We haven't hiked yet with them, will come back and update review after some real world use.
