So freaking handy ! Love this. Easy to install, no more winding string ! its a bit more money, but if you are not weed eating a field, it will be acceptable cost for convenience.

They rolls work fine for about 3/4 then they kept breaking off and I have to rethread the machine

The Ryobi trimmer that has an auto feed was made for one reason! To make money for HD! My recommendation is just don’t buy one! They auto feed every time you take your finger off the trigger, wasting line for no reason! But if you don’t want to buy a different model that doesn’t auto feed, these generic line refills are a great value! Don’t pay $20 for 3 of these at HD! These work great and you get 6 for $9! It’s a no brainer 🤷🏻♂️

This trimmer string was the right size as a replacement for the name brand. It arrived quickly and matched the description on Amazon. It worked ok, but I found the line to be a bit brittle. I found myself having to stop frequently to undo trimmer line that was caught on the spool and pull it out manually. It was January, so it was cold outside. Not sure if it would perform better in the summer or not. Good value for a quick fix, but perhaps not the best long term solution.
