initial testing looks very good. voltage accuracy is good. i've tested with a VHF radio to 6 amps and the regulation looks good. i haven't tested with larger loads yet nor have tested its ripple.likes:1. 3 memory buttons2. ability to turn off the beeper and change display brightness3. voltage and current encoders are easy to use4. output button!5. small size, lightweight6. banana jacks have a hole to thread a wire in, but it won't fit larger gauge wire. i think #15 is maxminor quibbles:7. banana jacks are marked _ -- and gnd, but are not visible since they're the same color as the face plate8. positive banana jack has a red base, but uses a black nut. Would be nice to use red for positive.9. power switch in the back of the unit. would have preferred it up frontoverall, pretty good unit. will update my review after longer term use.

I have some high end units that I use quite often in my university lab. I bought this just to have on my home workbench when I do projects with my kid. It serves it's purpose. It's not as finely adjustable or accurate as my lab equipment, but works fine for prototyping and arduino projects. I've used it for some small electroplating pieces and minor electrolytic rust removal too. It does the job.

I had another power supply but I wanted something where I could adjust the amps to test a dc motor with. It worked exactly as I expected and now I am happy to have the ability to test things in this way.

Works very well! I really like the memory set, it is quite easy to use and to change. Fan runs when necessary, not too much noise, but not super quiet, but not obnoxious!I use continuously.. is holding up just fine, so far. I do recommend, despite my dislike of the rotary encoder. I will update after a few months.

Build quality and internals look quite good upon visual inspection. Voltage and current Knobs are easy to use; Display is bright; The CC and CV modes worked as expected. The unit is quiet; the fan gets activated at high Temp and/or Amp setting - bearable noise, not too loud.Voltage and Current readings are fairly accurate (tested under no load): voltage differences between what was set and what was actually measured with a voltmeter ranged from 0.006V at 0V setting to about 0.08V at 31V setting. Output current differences between what was displayed on the Unit vs what was actually measured with an ammeter were quite small, on average about 0.002A over a test range of 0.5A to 7A.There are a few minor issues such as no lock feature, and terminals continued to trickle power for about 10-30 secs past turning off the output button. These are minor issues you can work around and are not deal breakers for me.Unless you work with very sensitive circuits, this unit is easy to use and quite accurate, certainly for most of my use cases. At this price point, it is a very good value for hobbyists and DIYers. Hope it keeps working for a long time!

Power supply is easy to use and accurate enough for automotive work, testing, troubleshooting etc. Easy to set voltage and amperage, push the button, scroll the value, when it stops blinking on each digit its set. Really nice to have memory positions and the unit remembers your last setting when powering down / back on, even if the last used setting is not in one of your memory slots. Plus that it comes with two sets of leads that can be used at the same time, super helpful if you need to power two inputs at the same time. Wish the main power button was mounted on the front panel as this unit is sitting on a custom shelf and facing up at an angle to make viewing and adjusting the settings easier. Also super helpful to have a front mounted output on / off button when making connections. Also works great to test individual LED Christmas light bulbs since you can set the correct operating voltage.
