Works amazing. Easy to setup and get going. Love the look and design. The video and resolution is great. Only small gripe is the connection to the live view and recordings could be quicker. Not having to subscribe to anything extra is a major plus too.

I’ve had several video doorbells over the years. The Ring classic and Pro, Nest, and then Blink. Ring had issues with motion detection and dropping WiFi, Nest worked great but requires an expensive subscription, and Blink is slow and also has occasional motion detection problems. So I went in search of a camera with some specific requirements: fast connection time, no expensive subscription, good motion detection, and smart features would be nice as well. I finally settled on the eufy and I’ve been extremely happy for the year I’ve had it. It has a bunch of amazing smart features (people, pet, vehicle, and package detection), no subscription, can work on battery or wired since I’m currently in an apartment without a wired doorbell but looking for a house, and high quality video that can be backed up remotely to the homebase or chime, and has a dizzying array of options and features. It’s super easy to set up, video quality is great, connection is fast - usually around 2-3 seconds, and the dual camera feature lets me see my packages even if they’re leaned up against the door. I liked it so much that I replaced all of my blink cameras with eufycam 3c’s and I’ve been extremely happy.

I’ve had this product for a few months (Euffy doorbell camera S340). I have two major problems with it and have brought it to the attention of their customer service department via email, but have received no response. The first problem is I keep constantly getting messages that I have a parcel picked up or a parcel has been delivered, even though I’m not expecting any delivery/ pick up.Secondly, the battery has to recharged almost every 10 days. This is really frustrating, especially as this is not a cheap product. This appears to be a deliberate attempt by the company to sell spare batteries.Frankly, based on my experience I wonder how this product received such positive reviews, as I relied on these reviews before deciding to buy this product.

Works pretty good! I like the dual camera so that it sees packages being dropped off at the front door porch.Installation was fairly easy, having to drill 2 holes into the door jamb.I had to use the angle bracket as without it, I was not getting a good view of the steps. Also since our lot is so close to the adjacent home, I didn't want it to point directly at their carport.I like the idea of this coming with a 2nd battery from the getgo and the price seemed pretty reasonable. The Eufy app works pretty well but as always w/ any new app, it took some time to get used to but it was easy to set up. I did have an issue trying to sync the doorbell to the app but that was user error as I selected the wrong thing to sync. There is a tiny QR code on the doorbell and it scans once you select the correct device to add.I like how you can set the boundary of the detection but for some reason at times even setting the boundary, it did pick up motion beyond when people might be walking by.I have also left sensitivity at the default. One thing I noticed after reviewing the clipsis that there is a slight delay at times and while others it sends notification quickly. This also results in the video clip not capturing everything;i.e. If there was a delivery, it recorded just the part when the package was dropped off and the deliveryperson was taking a picture. I guess maybe they tossed the package and was out of the virtual boundary...Hard to say.I don't get notifications of the mailman but that likely is because he is in his car and just slips the mail into the slot. This might need some slight adjustments to the boundary and sensitivity perhaps...But for me that wasn't a big deal, but I am sure others might want more consistency and quicker recording. The best part about this is the features I want/needed are not blocked by a subscription paywall.I am now going to look into other Eufy products as I do need some cameras for the back yard area.

TL;DR ... this doorbell is power flexible, uses AI effectively, has an attractive build/design, is easy to set up, and uses two good-quality cameras (in day or night).More useful details...Out of the box, this Eufy Doorbell can be installed to use its built-in battery or can be wired directly to your home. Nice.Installation, mounting, and app set up were all straightforward; took about 10 minutes. The hardest part was deciding where, and how high, to place the doorbell! (Eufy does suggest placement but YMMV.)The box came with everything you need, including a template decal that made placing and drilling a breeze; nice touch. The app is a bit clunky (dated?) but works well. Notifications to my phone have been instant. The doorbell itself has a built-in speaker; the doorbell "ding" is very loud and clear. (Another nice feature is that I will hear the doorbell ding in my AirPods if I'm wearing them.)The doorbell has two cameras, so I clearly see both the surrounding area AND the entire floor around my porch. I really like this feature.Visibility at night is good too.Setting detection zones is not intuitive but not hard to figure out. The doorbell can see VERY far in clear sunlight. Before setting up a zone, the camera flagged me at around 45 feet away.AI recognition is eerily accurate (a good thing) ... doorbell can identify animals, people, and packages. It will let you know if someone arrives, puts down a package, or picks up a package. So far, it has not misidentified anything. I haven't set up facial recognition yet; this will let the doorbell know if the person at the door is known/unknown. (Sounds like fun.)Battery: shows 4 out of 5 bars after 2 1/2 weeks of use; unfortunately, there is no percentage. (DO BETTER Eufy.)After 30 days of use (exactly), got a message from the app that the doorbell shut down due to low battery. BATTERY ONLY LAST 30 DAYS! Settings were left at default. :-(Doorbell works with the original Eufy HomeBase and HomeBase 2. The doorbell also works with Alexa and Google Assistant. I haven't use these features so don't know how well they work, or if a hub is required. No HomeKit support at this time (Again, DO BETTER Eufy!)btw ... you can always set up Homebridge or Hoobs to connect this Eufy doorbell to Apple's HomeKit; requires a bit more technical expertise.

I’ve been using the Eufy Security Doorbell both at my business and home, and it’s been a game-changer for monitoring and security. The video quality is crisp and clear, even at night, which gives me peace of mind knowing I can easily see who’s at the door. The 2K resolution is impressive, and the motion detection works flawlessly, notifying me immediately whenever someone approaches. What I love most is the two-way audio feature, which allows me to communicate directly through the doorbell, whether it’s with delivery people or guests. The setup was simple and quick, and I appreciate that there’s no monthly subscription required for storing footage. The doorbell’s design is sleek and modern, fitting well with both home and business aesthetics. Whether I’m at home or at work, I always feel connected and secure. It’s a great investment for anyone looking to enhance their security setup without the added costs of traditional monitoring systems.I highly recommend the Eufy Security Doorbell for anyone who values convenience, reliability, and high-quality security for both residential and business properties.

If you have a standard doorbell and want to use the current chime make sure to have the proper transformer. I purchased a 16V 30VA doorbell transformer from amazon and it works perfectly. The camera itself is very nice, easy to install. Great image quality. The setup was a little bit frustrating thats why I removed one star. I tried everything to connect the camera to my wifi and it just didn’t want to. I have Ubiquiti access points that share the same SSID for 2.4 and 5Ghz so I even tried splitting them without success. I tried using my router wifi instead of my APs and nothing.I was about to return the camera but I came across a forum post on Eufy to try with a different device. Why would my iPhone 13 be the issue ? Well that person was right, I tried with an iPad and was able to connect the camera to the network.Camera is working great even in cold winter. This is a must have nowadays with all the deliveries which the bottom camera is great for.

No subscription fees, great quality 2k video, outstanding remote response, rechargeable battery with good longevity, and lots of customization options! I added a Eufy S380 HomeBase which allows for more video file storage space (can add a 2.5" SSD hard drive up to 16TB) that also acts as a doorbell chime so you don't have to rely on your phone to hear the doorbell. I also purchased the spare battery so I don't have to wait for the rechargeable battery to recharge. The E340 has a separate camera for delivered packages. The software notifies you that a package has been delivered and when it has been picked up. Communicating with visitors is easy and works well. Finally, the E340 appears to be built with more durable materials than other cameras.
