Easy install and set up, I like the 2 different tones. ( high or low)It’s great for those areas that are to far from the base.

Very loud, and easy to set up. I wish they would work as an extra speaker for my homebase, but nevertheless, they do the job..

It's loud and really effective. Only comes with mounting screws, no sticky stuff for the wall.

I've got a Homebase2 and their video doorbell. The instructions for installation were clearly written and easy to follow. Just install the batteries, open the app and tap on the "Add device" icon. From there you press the sync button and it connects automatically. Give it a name, set the volume (low or high) and you're done. The siren has a very shrill sound, similar to your smoke detector going off. It's pretty darn loud on the high setting. I would think that the low setting would work for most people indoors. From the Eufy app you can set up "automations" to use your siren. Define a trigger, for example, a motion alert from a camera. Then, set up an action, for example, the siren to go off. Save the automation and you're good to go. Very simple to use.Overall, a simple and effective alarm for your Eufy Homebase system. Definitely recommended. My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

One of the biggest issues with Eufy homebase was always volume of built-in siren. It is quiet. Like, it-probably-wouldn't-scare-a-hamster quiet. This siren however was a good addition to our security system. I'm out of hamsters this season but I bet this thing would send one right to the heaven.

The Siren for eufy security is a nice addition and is just loud enough for a medium sized space. If you have a large space you should consider getting two.

I bought 2 of these to add on my Eufy Security System. The alarm isn't terribly loud - not loud enough to scare away an intruder. It's disappointing given that siren technology is 50+ years old and this sounds like a glorified beeper. My old 30-year-old alarm system sounds way louder and lets the neighbors KNOW when it goes off! I had been asking Eufy for a siren for years, and after years they come out with this disappointing product. It also took 2-3 pairing attempts to get it connected to the system, so the onboarding could have been a little better. However it does work, and I hope Eufy can do some work to make it better.

As far as this unit serving its primary purpose, i.e. adding additional volume to the HomeBase’s alarm it succeeds and is a useful addition. Where the product falls short is its total integration into the Eufy ecosystem. As it stands today, the ability to monitor the battery condition within the Eufy Security app doesn’t work. I tested this issue using two different sirens and on two different HomeBase2 systems, and in each case no battery status was reported within the app. I’m not sure if this issue exists when using the newer HomeBase3, but I can confirm it’s a problem on the HomeBase2 with the latest firmware installed. The firmware within the siren is not user upgradable, hopefully if there’s ever another update to the HomeBase2 firmware maybe it can be resolved there. So for now I can only give the unit 3 stars at best, this should have been caught by Eufy before every releasing this product.
