Bought these and they work like a charm with Unifi Access. It's possible other reviewers just received a bad batch, but my batch worked right out of the package.

Forget paying $20 for 4 from the manufacturer. These bad boys work just as good n the price makes it so worth it!

These are just klinky sounding on your Keychain compared to the others I've used. And I've had a few more defects than normal. The problem with any of the fobs that are defective is that they don't just not work. They disable the frigging lockset so you have to pull the batteries to reset it. Even master keys no longer work until you pull the batteries.I've been marking the bad ones and when I have time I'm going to disassemble and test to try and identify the common denominator that's the failure point.

I have 4 Schlage "CONTROL" series locks that work with MIFARE CLASSIC and DESFIRE credentials. They support both 125khz and 13.56 MHZ bands. These tags DO NOT work with this system. That may be due to the tags not being encrypted, since they are read-only. That is a huge security violation and makes sniffers and cloners VERY EASY to capture the tag's serial number as it is being presented. If you're using these tags for door locks, you seriously need to re-consider your lock and tag choice, and get an encrypted one.Second, the physical tags are very cheaply made, and they're not glued or sealed. it is far too easy to break the cheap, flimsy plastic, and the cover over the chip and antenna pops out easily. It really wouldn't be that much more difficult to seal or glue them, especially considering that the chip is sitting on epoxy already and it would be just as easy to squirt a little more epooxy in there to hold the cover on.I don't understand how these have a 100% perfect 5-star rating. They're terrible! Not encrypted, cheaply made, fall apart easily, and NOT compatible with the MIFARE CLASSIC 1k system that they claim to be. I am giving 1 star mostly because of the cheap construction, but also because of the incompatibility.
