I flew for the first time with my 22lb corgi using this bag. I wanted to go home for the holidays, but was afraid she was too big to fly in cabin and refused to put her under the plane. It's a little bit tight when fully zipped up, but she had plenty of room when the bag was expanded. We flew Alaska and had no problems checking in, boarding, or once on the plane! Hope to travel more with her in the future :)The bag isn't the sturdiest I've ever seen, but we had no trouble with it, and I don't mind it wearing out earlier than others in exchange for all of the room it gives her. But because she is a little over the weight limit, I didn't try using the shoulder strap (only carried it like a duffle) and would not carry her in the bag with the expansions open.

Unlike other expandable carriers, this one checks two important boxes: it has ventilation on three sides when completely zipped up (a requirement for domestic flights on Delta), and it expands on the ends. The wire frame does not have much give, so it might be a bit of a workout to squash it under the seat on certain aircraft (e.g., those awful Boeing 757s that Delta uses). As others have mentioned, the sideboards do not stay up when the carrier is not expanded. I have not used this yet because I am looking for a wheel base for it. This carrier cannot be used for international flights on Delta because it does have ventilation on four sides. I would love it if this carrier came with a detachable wheel base and ventilation on one more side.

This is a great carrier. There are many combinations to give your kitty space. This has made traveling so much easier and more enjoyable for both of us. We don't have a lot of storage and this is super easy to zip together or collapse.

Ce sac est parfait pour un chat assez petit (genre 4kg, 5kg). Il est facile à plier, ranger, ne prend pas de place. Le tapis à l'intérieur peut etre détaché pour etre lavé et il est possible de l'agrandir en ouvrant les compartiments, ce qui est pratique pour l'animal. Je l'ai depuis un an et les coutures tiennent bon, le grillage ne s'est pas abimé du tout. Les sangles permettent de porter le sac soit à la main soit à l'épaule. Je prefere à la main car sinon le sac à tendance à trop bouger d'avant en arriere et l'animal est balancé.Bon produit.

This was a well made carrier if you have a small dog. Our 25lbs corgi absolutely would not fit into this since he is too long. The height is fine though. The zipper compartments would allow him to fit of they were all open but that won't work for an airplane ride so I have to return

I loved this carrier. Had ZERO problems getting through TSA and otherwise, I flew on United. I was moving cross country with my two kitties and this was great.I went to the airport a week before the flight and checked with the ticket agents that the size was acceptable, and they gave me the green light. The day of, I had no problems getting through security at all.Since I was one passenger traveling with two animal carriers, I had to purchase an extra seat to accommodate them. I had three legs on my travel, and two different aircrafts.The carriers fit SO roomily underneath the seats of the aircraft which had two rows of seats, with two seats in each row. However, I had a little more trouble fitting one carrier underneath the middle seat of the aircraft with two rows of seats, with three seats to a row. It fit about halfway deep, but the flight attendant didnât raise any issue with that.The carriers themselves are pretty sturdy, but the bottoms would bow a little bit when I carried their carriers on my shoulder with the shoulder strap. It wasnât too big of a deal though. I love that they have so many pockets, I used these to carry hydrating treats for my kitties for the flight. The expandable feature was also nice, my cats definitely appreciated and utilized that and got to stretch out a little more when we were waiting for our next flight.I love this carrier! Buy it! 10/10.

I got this for a 6 hour flight for my 11lb terrier. It worked really well, it was easy to carry and she had plenty of room to relax and lie down. We flew economy in a United flight (B757-200) and due to where the outlets were placed, the carrier didnât fit very well under the seat but we made it work. It would have been better if we were in one of the extra legroom sections. There was definitely no room to use the expanding sections of this carrier on the plane. But Iâm excited to use it again for future trips.

Tried several carriers before this one, and this one out-did the priciest ones. Great quality materials and construction and the optional side flaps are fantastic for giving you the ability to expand the carrier's size to the full space available to you under your seat.My dog is a corgi-chihuahua mix, about 24lbs and about 17-18" from butt to chest in length. While she fit fine enough facing the carrier door front-to-back, I really appreciated being able to let down both the front panel and one of the side panels in order to maximize her space and comfort once we had actually settled onto the plane. This extra room allowed her to curl up and be a lot more comfortable during the trip, which seemed to help with her travel anxiety.The mesh is also nice and breathable, unlike some other carriers I tried that would heat up too much inside the carrier. One of the sides is also non-mesh, allowing me to position it to block off her view from all the strangers when we had a window seat. The extension floor pads can also be used to easily block both sides if needed.We rode on one of Alaska's medium-sized planes in economy and there was plenty of space for her. I rode on what was probably the smallest Alaska plane on my way there with a different carrier, but the under-seat space seemed fairly similar and I would feel comfortable using this carrier for that one as well.---Tip for use: If you're not planning on putting down both of the side panels, either: (1) use the provided velcro straps located inside the carrier at the top to hold the unused extension floor pads out of the way or (2) fold the extra padding underneath the main padding. Otherwise, it will just fall on top of your pet like a strange stiff blanket and likely make it pretty claustrophobic in there. But once it's velcro'd or folded under this isn't an issue.Second tip for use: If you're traveling with an animal, get a window seat. It's just so much less stress, no moving out of the way for seatmates to use the bathroom, and you can seclude your pet from others by blocking the one side and using the side expansions closest to the window.

This item is listed as being 19 inches long and 11.4 inches wide by 11.4 inches tall. It isn't.Its 16 inches and 10 x 10. Significantly smaller than advertised, and also did not even come with a carry strap.

The kittens immediately approved it as a new sleeping spot! Took them out to the vet and opening the bag from the top is very handy when you only want to pick out one cat from the bag, assures that nobody escapes. Having it expandable to make more room will surely be practical for longer travels with train and flight. It's also a very good looking bag!
