Bought for a small dog. Was too small. However, gifted to someone to use for their cat. Good weight and sturdiness. Easy to use and store. Stable as needed to use.

My kitty doesn't love going in her carrier usually as it normally means she is heading to the vet. But I had to put her in her new carrier today as fire alarms were going off in our apt building (it turned out there was smoke coming out of the microwave in a commons area...all was ok). Anyway she seemed very comfy in this new carrier and I loved it for her comfort! I love the padded mat on the bottom and little carrier pocket for my phone or keys...very handy. The zipped openings are very generous, so there is less discomfort for her getting her in.; one is even smaller so you can rearrange or pet the animal while they are inside! And it's so pretty!

This carrier is sturdy and spacious. My cat doesn’t like going into a carrier, so it’s usually a battle to get her inside. The opening of this carrier is large enough that I can easily get her inside! She also doesn’t seem to fight as much because it’s a wide opening. I love the duffle bag style straps. A great pet carrier!

*I tried to upload photos, but Amazon wouldn't let me...I travel with my cat on planes, trains, and in cars a lot. She is not a nervous traveler.- Mesh is sturdy and though. Very see thru, not ideal if you're trying to hide that fact that you have a cat/dog. i.e. going to the store etc.-Leash inside is perfect length to open the windows and not allow the cat to exit the carrier-Very washable, can put the whole carrier and the floor cover as well in the washer (air dry)-- hot water, gentle cycle has worked well for me- Perfect side for the airlines. When it's under the seat in front of me, I still hav ~8inches width to put my feet next to her carrier.-Top opening, makes it easy to get her in and out. Also, can but my foot in the carrier from the top if she is to settling down on a flight-While traveling, I hang a sweatshirt over the carrier. Since there are windows on all side, plus the top. If I want her to sleep and relax, the sweatshirt helps to make it darker. When we get to the gate, I usually let her look out all 4 windows.Cons:-Side carry strap is not very sturdy. When I carry it on my shoulder, the carrier flips and tilts. Not a good ride for my cat.-Not a lot of pockets/storage space. If you are traveling with an animal on airlines, the carrier counts as your personal item. So I travel with a rolling suitcase (4 wheels) and the carrier on top. It is kind of annoying not having a pocket for my passport, water bottle, charging cables, etc that I would normally have in my backpack under the seat in front of me.- When the main side entrance is fully unzipped, the roof of the carrier sags down. This is only a problem is your cat hangs out in the carrier at home. This is not a problem when traveling as all sides are zipped and secured. My cat doesn't seem to mind, but I do. My solution has been to keep the full zippered side closed and keep the half zippered side open.

This little carrier is great. Lots of zippered openings. Very sturdy. I wish some of the openings had larger pockets.I can never find a pet carrier with a bottom that has enough cushion for my tiny Chihuahua. I usually put in a soft round pet bed with will conform to the corners and works just fine. The mesh holes are great as they made this harder for say a puppy to chew out as my girl did to a previous kennel when she was a pup. The small size is small! I would not recommend this size for any breed larger than Chihuahua, Yorkie, or kittens. A full grown cat would have issues.Overall it's well built, easy to carry and works nicely. Love the purple 💜 color for mine!

Bought for an 8 lb cat.Cons:-The chemical smell in the beginning was awful, and made my cat sneeze over and over. I washed the carrier three times and hung it outside for a week or more, each time. After that, the smell was tolerable,. My cat likes the carrier now, and will sleep in it at home.-The mesh is not as sturdy as claimed. In one difficult trip, she damaged the mesh and shredded the inside lining. Why put a thin, easily shredded lining inside a pet carrier?- The shoulder strap allows the carrier to roll if the pet is not exactly in the middle. It's dangerous. If you pick up the carrier with the shoulder strap, it tips the carrier on its side, so your animal falls over. Really poor design.- If you want to leave it open at home, the top does not stand up. It stands up when it is zipped, but not open. When we are travelling, I usually leave her carrier open when we get to our destination, and my cat sleeps in it. This top crunches down so it has to be held up by a stick. Put a wire inside the binding to help keep it's shape.Pros-The plush bottom with sides is nice. The bottom board makes it pretty sturdy.-Grey mesh rather than black means more light.Bottom line:Back to the drawing board. Remove the chemical stink before you ship it to consumers. Fix the shoulder strap. Get rid of the easily shredded inner lining. Cover seams or flat fell them so they don't bother the animal.Wouldn't buy it again, am shopping for another carrier 7 months later.

This carrier is amazing! Lots of room for my young bunny and very easy to carry. I can go free hand and can put things in the side pocket if i want to. It has a lot of access room top and 2 sides. The little bed included helps with the grip and doesnt let him slide around. The only thing i had a problem with was the smell. The new plastic smell was hard to get rid of but it you put it outside, it'll disappear in a few days.I would recommend this for active travellers and want something compact and easy to have.
