Husband wore these in Mexico on our recent trip and they were thin and cool in that climate. Love the neutral color palette as they go with everything. He told me they were comfortable and they fitted true to size. Liked them so much we bought another color too.

I purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 7" Inseam Stretch 5-Pocket Short in black, size 31. Overall, they are decent, but not without some issues.Firstly, the fit was good and true to size. The shorts were comfortable and had a nice slim fit without being too tight.The stitching and fabric quality were actually quite good. The material felt durable and had a nice stretch to it, which made the shorts comfortable to wear. The seams were well-finished, and I didn't notice any loose threads or poorly done stitching.However, the major letdown was the color. The black looked very faded right out of the package, giving the shorts an old and worn-out appearance. After just one wash, they became even more faded, which was extremely disappointing.Overall, while the fit, stitching, and fabric quality were good, the disappointing color quality detracted from the overall value. I give these shorts 3 stars.

I didn't know my exact waist measurement. So I ordered the next size up that seemed close, 36". They arrived the next day with my Prime account in a clear plastic bag with the label taped to it. So the delivery driver and anybody who came by, and my roommates could see my purchase. I didn't like that.The pants at the waist line were big, but the legs and seat area were a comfortable fit. Had I ordered it one size lower, and the proportions were the same, they might have been tight.There were extended threads at the ends of several stitches. Is this sloppy or just proof that the seams weren't completed properly? I don't know. The pants have been washed and they didn't shrink. They do wrinkle if not flattened directly out of the dryer. I am satisfied with the purchase.

I'm 178cm with a 34inch waist and these shorts fit perfectly. True to my waist size and the cut sits just an inch above the knee. The material very comfy on the skin, a mix of cotton and some elastic material which provides enough of a stretch in certain positions whithout it feeling uncomfortable. Most of all, the shorts look great. I have medium sized/atheletic thighs and they sit comfortably on them, kind of like a nice fitting set of taylored golf shorts which are not too tight but also not too loose. I'm definately going to order a another pair in a deifferent colour this time.

I ordered several of these shorts in different colors for my husband. He has lost some weight, so I ordered one pair to see how they fit. He LOVES them. These shorts have a 7” inseam, so they are shorter than many styles in the stores. He likes them because he’s working outside in the heat and did not want shorts that fell below the knee. The fabric is cotton with a little stretch and very nice. Since he lost weight, the slim fit works perfectly for him. A good value and comfortable wearing set of shorts.
