The linocut printing technique was used first by the artists of Die Brücke in Germany between 1905 and 1913, where it had been similarly used for wallpaper printing. A perfect starter craft cutter and stamp making kit for kids and adults to use in Linoleum for Printmaking, stamp carving, Rubber stamps and more.
These lino cutters are made from the finest high carbon steel and ground to an optimum angle to ensure long-lasting cutting edges. Suitable for use with firm printmaking materials i.e linoleum as well as soft, hard and synthetic materials.
Usage of Lino Cutter Blades and Roller:
- Style No. 1- A shape of the lino cutter ends are V-tools, fine lines and cross hatching. A line of 0.5mm or less is possible on softcut material.
- Style No. 2- A universal and easy to use tool with a low angle commonly used as a basic first time tool to cut lines up to 1.5mm or less.
- 50mm Brayer rollers can be used with both water and oil-based inks.
- 100mm Rubber print roller are used to apply a thin layer of ink or paint to a surface.
- A safety cutter precision ground safety lino cutters with a recessed cutting edge.

Great starter kit. For the price I would expect larger pieces of carving block or perhaps more.

Ne manquent plus qu'un crayon pour dessiner avant de graver, et une surface plane pour encrer le rouleau (de 6.5 cm).3 gouges fournies : une "debutant" avec des "ailes" pour rester à la bonne profondeur de coupe, une en V, une en U. Le manche noir s'adapte sur les gouges et sur le "baren"(pressoir) qui sert aussi de rangement pour les lames et la virole du manche.Notice en anglais, allemand, espagnol, français, (de bonne qualité).Les plaques de "lino" sont du "Softcut", pas du "vrai" linoleum mais lavables à grande eau.

Fue un regalo de Navidad y la persona quedó encantada. Muy sorprendida por la calidad y lo bien montado que está el kit, con todo lo necesario. Muy recomendable para iniciarse en el grabado.
