Totally blunt. Didn't even cut rubber blocks.

Definitely not the easiest to use or the smoothest cut, but they do the job. You really have to learn the right amount of pressure with these and it’s hard to get a steady cut at the same depth. I also had one defective one that had a small piece of the metal obstructing the v shape, so couldn’t even use that one to cut with.

I have an Essdee handle and set of blades that came with it, which I get on with fine, so I was hoping these would be passable too, despite the bad reviews. They are not. They didn’t have any visible problems. They were just so blunt though! Worse than the much used Essdee blade I was trying to replace. Had to put a lot of pressure to get them to make a cut in the lino, and my hand slipped more than once using these :( I had to go back to using my old blade, which was better compared to these

I noticed that the blades were not cut well and had metal splinters on many of them.I bought serval boxes for my art class and it was the same in all the boxes. We have now used them twice within a couple months and noticed that they are already tarnished. It’s sad that quality is no longer a concern for name brand companies we spend so much money on.

Bought these because my original kit didnt come one this thin. They are well made and cut through smoothly.

The cutters I received are dull and damaged edges beyond being able to sharpen. I couldn't believe how bad they are. Not even close to the quality of the original Speedball cutters. I will now gladly pay twice as much for the original brand after seeing these. I would not recommend these cutters to anyone for anything. I gave them one star only because they looked like the original.

I am totally disappointed by theses blades. They have burrs and nicks on the blade tips which make them very difficult to use on my linoleum carving.
