This is great and absorbs all the messes you can imagine happen in an automotive shop! We have also used it in the kitchen at our burger restaurant and it worked well there, too. It's a work horse!

Not at all heavy weight. Doesn't absorb well. Doesn't tear at perforations. Instead, when you pull you just rip pieces off the roll because it is so thin and crispy.

This is great for absorbing liquids in the shop. It's not meant to be walked on, but you can use them where you would normally use paper towels. These just have much more absorption potential. They are super useful for cleaning something with a water based degreaser. They will prevent the solvent from reaching the floor. It's not Pig mat, but based on the price it's more than adequate.

I would not rate this a heavy weight but a medium weight. It absorbs very well and quickly, but is not meant to be walked-on as it will tear easily. If you require something for foot traffic do not use this product. However for a reasonably priced quick absorbent this product works well.
