This is by far my favorite 4mm bit driver. It's got a decent magnet at the head and the spinner at the base works pretty well. I got this in another kit and loved it so much I decided to buy another to add to my cheaper set of bits that had a much worse bit driver.This is also way better than the other Wiha friction fit bit driver I got with another Wiha set.

When my first holder fell apart I popped over to Amazon to buy a replacement. It took less than 6 months for the cover to fall of the replacement... I don't pretend to understands the dynamics of different plastics and rubber but this is nowhere close to my expectations. I just 3d printed a replacement and you should too.

Product came with some clear pungent liquid coating it. Liquid forms after a few days even after cleaning (cloth with IPA 90%). Great item but unknown problem.

This is the second one I have bought in 2 years, they are great and you can repair 8-900 laptops* with one of these before it fails...and needs to be replaced.*(I'm a Lenovo, Panasonic, Dell warranty repair tech)Photos:The well worn one in the first picture is the old one, that was rejected by warranty.The second picture is of one of these mid life.The final one with the laptop full of oil (not a good thing) is the new one.

The Wiha 75804 is a tiny, expensive, 4-mm ESD bit holder. It is designed for low-torque precision applications (inside computers, mainly.) It is not intended to be used as a general-purpose screwdriver, which explains why it is so tiny. However, despite the high price, I own 3 of them! This should show how much I love this Wiha product!

Wiha's bit holder fits the fairly standard 4mm precision bit made popular I think by the iFixit ProTech Tooklit, I got this one because I never have enough bit holder/driver handles for these little bits, and I hoped that Wiha's would otherwise fit the expectations of quality I have from the Wiha brand name.How does it stack up? Well, it's a little small in my hand, owing to Wiha's expectation that this is to be used for small precision bits. They didn't expect me to whack a PH#2 in here and go to town building desktop PCs. iFixit's aluminum ProTech/Mako driver is a better choice if you're going to do that, to be honest. It's also knurled aluminum and at least twice the price for just the driver. If you're going to spend that much on just the drriver/bit holder, spend the extra on the Mako kit and get the full complement of bits.Where this has come in handy is installing m.2 drives and working in laptops—the actual places a precision driver would be wanted: Working with precision screws.Tail cap spins pretty well. It's not quite the buttery smooth spin of the iFixit driver, there's some ivedience of plastic/rubber mold flash in there somewhere binding a tiny bit for part of the rotation cycle. It's not bad, and it won't interfere with using the tool as a tool. It just makes it feel slightly less premium. It's the only reason I didn't give this thing five stars all the way.

I had a bunch of 4mm bits and needed a driver handle for them that would hold up to the task. This is perfect for what I am using it for. It is light and fits my hand well. I expect it to last many years as long as it's used as it was designed for.

The standard black holder that comes in the Wiha micro bit sets is not as bad as other make them out to be. It holds the bit very securely, kinda a pain to replace but works well, has a decent shape and works good. IMO its as good as all those cheap kits or slightly better...BUT THIS THING IS AMAZING, and I'm so glad I purchased it. First the shape is great. Larger rear turning section is very easy to hold with a finger tip or the palm of you hand and rotates smoothly with no wobble. The front contour makes turning or adding pressure very easy. The yellow section is a rubber which adds just the right amount of grip without making it feel "sticky".And best of all, IMO, is that it is a magnetic tip holder. This is great for two reasons, 1) it makes inserting and changing bits much easier/faster. saving 1-2 seconds might sound like nothing but when you are tearing apart laptops and switching bits 50 times, its a great convenience. However, the best part of ALLL OF THIS is that it 2) makes the bits magnetic! I was worried I was going to need to magnetize all 50+ of those tiny bits, but just putting them into this holder and they are strong enough to pick up other bits (hefty) or 5-10 small screws at once. If you have to pick up tiny screws that fall in cracks, or when screwing in these tiny things, the magnetization is a must imo.TLDR: I would NEVER work on a laptop without this holder again. If I lost it, I would buy another that very second. It makes working on small components literally 2-3x easier compared to the standard black holder that comes with Wiha micro bit sets, and is better than every other holder I've used (I work in in the technology dept. for a school district so Ive seen a dozen other options)
