This is my first food scale, and it’s terrific! Easy to use, doesn’t take up space. I love the feature of placing the container on the scale, hitting a button and it zeroes out, ready for you to add the ingredients. I highly recommend this scale.

Lightweight and my bowl fits perfectly on the top, easy to clean. The scale top is small but it seems to work great.

It’s light, easy to use, easy to store, is very accurate, easy to read, great battery life. Probably my most used purchase ever. I work out and count macros and this helps me a ton. I can’t live without it. I even took it on a ski trip with me to make sure I was getting proper macros whilst away from home.

I have had one for probably 10 years and it still works great. I just ordered one for my sister's birthday because she is an avid baker and a lot of recipes now use grams or ozs instead of cups. Much more precise. Wonderful for the price.

This is quite small and light and does not feel particularly well made but is very easy to use and apparently very accurate. I just wish its base were a little bigger so it could accommodate my largest bowls. It works well, just really small.

This scale gets used every day. It measures in grams, ounces and pounds/ounces. It is so easy to use. It's great! The only thing that would make it better is for it to weigh in 10ths of a gram. But, for what it does, I highly recommend it.

Comprei o produto que foi entregue em 7 de setembro de 2024. Usei poucas vezes e sempre cuidando muito bem guardando em local adequado e seguro. Meados de outubro deu defeito. Do nada ela simplesmente não liga. Troquei a pilha e nada.

Bought this for myself and was very happy. Then got another one for my mother who has been using a spring loaded analog scale that she had for probably 50 years and no longer tares and is very finicky. She does not like change or new things and is very picky. She was BLOWN AWAY by the convenience and ease of use of this scale and loves it.It's very easy to use and works well. Doesn't take up much space. Very happy with this product, would highly recommend.

WHY ESCALI PRIMO: I bought this scale after seeing it recommended in many forums, blogs, and review articles that addressed equipment for use in bread baking. I am not at all disappointed with my purchase.MY USAGE: I use this scale on a daily basis and it performs quite admirably. I primarily use it to weigh things such as sourdough starter, flour, and water. Weighing things like flour, which sometimes clings to the sides of the container, or water, which sometimes sloshes around, are more challenging than weighing something small and solid, such as a nickel.PERFORMANCE: When I first received it, I put it through several tests to satisfy myself as to its accuracy. I am quite confident that this scale gives accurate readings, no matter what is being weighed. The tare function makes it very easy to add several ingredients to a container, weighing each one separately. And, if it is important for you, the scale does show negative readings (for instance, if you remove the item that was just weighed).OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: There is a nice selection of colors from which to choose; I bought red and am quite happy with it. There is a reason I prefer this style/design (with the raised circular weighing platform, with the control buttons on the top of the scale in front of the platform) over the my other scale (which has a sleek flat surface - all of which is the weighing platform). Since the two scales function with equal accuracy, and the other scale is definitely more attractive, you would think I would prefer the other one. Well, even though I love the looks of the other scale, the design has one drawback. Because the on/off control is on the front edge, it is easily bumped. The scale is often being turned on by accident. This is a real annoyance for me. There is never an accidental button push with this Escali Primo scale, and in my mind that is a big plus!BOTTOM LINE: I love this scale. I like the fact that it has a well-deserved reputation for consistent satisfactory performance (good reviews on many different websites). It is a workhorse, that never lets me down. I would recommend this to friends and family, as well as to all of you reading this review. In my opinion, upon finding this scale, your search is over; this is the scale to buy!

I purchased this scale after much debate between this scale and the . However, after purchasing a bathroom scale from the EatSmart company and being very unhappy with it, I decided to go with Escali instead (navy color). And, I'm glad I did!The device is very simple. It's also very lightweight. It comes with two Duracell AA batteries that you pop into the battery compartment in the back. That's all the setup it requires. There are two buttons: An on/tare/off button, and a g/oz button (to shift between grams or ounces). You can put a plate/ bowl etc. on the platform (which is the size of a small saucer) and then press the "on/tare/off" button, and it will be set to zero; you can then add food on the plate and will give you only the food's weight. You can press the button each time you want to reset it to zero and measure a new ingredients separately. You have to hold the button for several seconds for it to turn off, but it does auto-shut off after a couple of minutes. The "grams/ oz" button allows you to switch between grams, total ounces, or lbs + ounces (for example, 17 ounces would be displayed as 1 lb 1 oz.) It also remembers your previous setting; if you place it on "ounces" and turn it off, it will turn on displaying ounces. The scale has a precision of 1 or two grams. When I placed a nickel on it, it displayed the proper 5 grams; 2 nickels yielded 10 grams. However, sometimes it seems to waver between displays, but only by a gram or two (for example, one time it couldn't decide between 6 or 7 grams). Also, a quarter coin is 5.67 grams, and the display read 5 grams. This may be a problem for the stricter dieters, but I really doubt it would make a difference in most cases. The biggest problem (for me) is the small platform; if you place a plate or similar container on the platform, it will obscure the reading on the display. This can be remedied by placing the plate further back on the platform, so long as it doesn't fall off. Also, if the platform were bigger, it follows that the scale would be bigger, and take up more valuable counter space.Also--and I don't know if this is true for all digital scales--don't place this near a microwave, as the reading will be way off. I was quite shocked when weighing something, and the display of numbers was going haywire. I finally realized the microwave was on, and moved it to a place nearby; the display was fine again. Again, this may be simple common knowledge, but in case you didn't know, now you do!Overall, this is a great, affordable kitchen scale which I would recommend to anybody.
