Very well built and highly accurate as my wife needs for baking. No more converting needed as scale does it for you. Nice addition to the kitchen at a great price. Would highly recommend

I bought this scale in the beginning of December 2024 and I really loved it, nice size, easy to use, accurate and easy to clean. However in the beginning of February the numbers on the scale where not showing complete numbers making it impossible to read. I contacted Jessica at the Nice Well email on Monday of this week and today, Wednesday, a brand new replacement was delivered to me! Now that’s awesome customer service! I highly recommend this kitchen scale to anyone who is considering buying one.Carol S

I bought this scale to keep track of my chickens weight. Very simple to use and operate! It would also be good to weigh other small animals/pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and others birds. I found it to be very accurate in its readings. It is a perfect size to tuck away, although it is a bit difficult for the chicken to stand on at times. It seems pretty durable as well. It has some scratches on it from chicken claws, but I don’t mind.

Sturdy, quality feel. Weighs to the 0.001. Simple to use, LED numbers, easy to read.love that it is sleek with no knobs and can be slid on the shelf to store it out of the way between my cookbooks.

I wanted a scale with accuracy to 1 gram. This one works perfectly. Easy to read display even with a large bowl on top, tare function, slim design, easy to clean glass top all make it a perfect choice.

So far this seems like an excellent choice for a kitchen scale. Looks classy and is easy to work. Runs on two AAA batteries. Large numerals easy to read. Easy to change from pounds or ounces to grams or kilos. Came securely packaged so no damage in shipping.

I’ve been using the Nicewell scale for five years now. My wife and I weigh all of our meal portions to track nutrition. I use it weekly for bread ingredients. I’ve abandoned dry “cup” measurements… all of the cooking and serving in my kitchen is based on grams [I am native to USA but abhor imperial measurements e.g. pounds/ounces].There are a few concerns with this scale.1. The capacitive electronic touch buttons are very sensitive. For example when weighing salad ingredients, if a piece of lettuce or spinach falls on one of the buttons then the scale usually reacts (off, tare, or change units), it will definitely react if I touch any part of the lettuce. I realize that this is a side effect of the liquid spill-proof design of the working surface.2. The weighing mechanism depends on all four feet touching a totally flat hard surface. I assume that each of the four feet is a little weight sensor and all four weights are added together. My main preparation area is a 50-year old butcher block counter, I’ve learned that there is one corner flat enough for the scale. I also prepare on an antique Mid-century-modern chrome-leg formica-top dining table. There’s a couple of locations on the table where the scale functions without errors. I’ve learned to always press opposite diagonal corners to feel if there is any wobble. Even a crumb under one foot will result in measuring errors.3. The scale has a slight delay to “settle” on weight. I assume this is a side-effect of the electronics summing the weights on the four feet under the scale.4. The auto-off is like most scales, but it is still a source of anxiety. I’ve learned to “tag-up” by touching Tare before every measurement. It seems that touching Tare will reset the auto-off countdown. (I really wish these scales didn’t have auto-off; I can easily turn off manually after every use. If the designer really thinks auto-off is a requirement, then they should reset the auto-off countdown every time the weight changes i.e. start the countdown when the scale is idle). I generally turn off manually every time because I know that the backlight is a relatively large energy user.In spite of my concerns about this scale, it is very usable and useful. I’ve shopped around but cannot find a better portable kitchen scale for metric weight.

Haven’t used a lot yet but so far this is great. It’s very easy to use and sleek looking. I love that I can put a bowl or measuring cup on it, zero that weight out, then adding the food I want weighed.

Remember those days standing in the kitchen, calculator in hand (or screaming at Alexa), converting a recipe from ounces to grams, milliliters to fl/oz and factoring the weight of the container in a hope to get the volumes right? You can leave them behind with this sleek looking scale, useful functionalities and small footprint. The press of a button was all it took last night for me to go from ounces to grams (unit button), remove the weight of the mixer's bowl or that of the pinch bowl (tare button) for easy and precise measurement. The scale has a small foot print and looks great. Putting it sideways in an overhead cabinet for easy access takes very little; leaving it on the counter will add to the looks of your kitchen. Measuring yeast down to the gram was very easy thanks to the precision of this scale. As usual I managed to spill flour and then water all over; wiping it off the device was a breeze.

I never thought I would ever need a scale like this but I have changed my mind. In my older years now that I have been home from work, I decided that I was capable of baking a few things. Sort of pretending I was Martha Stewart. Lol. As I watched some of the videos online and printing out some recipes, I realized that it's not that easy to measure out tablespoons of butter or ounces of something else. I watched as some experts online just used a scale and I saw how simple it was so I decided to buy a scale and wow! It made things so simple. It really is a very useful scale. And so far it's been a very good scale. You won't have regrets buying it.
