I'm a diesel mechanic by trade. I have been on the hunt for a quality socket organizer. The things I look for are secured sockets, easy to remove sockets, compactness, labeling, looks, and price. These hit every single criteria. The twist lock feature is easy to use. I can simply not lock the sockets if I choose to for easy access. Very good fit in my toolbox. The selling feature on these is how much you can customize them. I could easily move the individual bits of each drive size around. Also being able to remove rows is a major plus. All around a great set for a reasonable price. The color is also fantastic to look at. I love the included stickers. This allows me to easily organize socket sets that skip sizes, simply move to the next label.I would like some 3/4 bits for some adapters and random large sockets, but I'm not sure if Ernst sells them.Look no further, just buy these, you won't regret it!

I wish they’d make the trays in one size, like all 3/8” or all 1/4”. I had to order 4 or 5 trays to make 2 trays with enough 3/8” socket holders. You can order the holders separate but they take over a week to come in and are half the price of a whole tray and you get 6-8 more with the tray. So I have a ton of left over 1/2” and 1/4” and 3 leftover trays… for some reason every time I would place an order for the green 18” trays, shipping would ALWAYS get delayed. Idk if it’s just the weather has been very cold or what. Hopefully that doesn’t continue to happen. All of the downsides were pretty much made up for by the convenience of these trays. I was able to remove SEVEN socket rails from my box and put all of those sockets into 1 tray, and 1 extra rail. So 4 rails total. The twist and lock seems solid. They’re kind of stubborn the first time putting a socket in them but they break in pretty quick. Removing and adding the holders is the same. They’re tough to get off and on the first few times but it gets easier the more you slide holders on/off. In general they’re still tough to get off/on the rails so you have to fight with them a little bit. I only broke one out of the 30-40 I added or removed from the rails. The stickers are kinda cheap. Def use clean hands when laying them on because the slightest bit of contamination and they don’t stick at all. All things considered, they’re some of the best socket organizers I’ve had and come across. Snap on wanted $100 for 1 rail so these are great value. A buddy of mine has these in his tool box and they haven’t broken and still lock/unlock correctly after over a year of use. I’ll def be ordering more 👍🏼

keep all my sockets together and like that you can make a mix rail size and drive size up with the sockets that you need for that a job.

Super util para no traer tus dados desorganizados por todos lados, lo uso todo el tiempo ya que en este organizador tengo los dados que mas uso.

I bought two of these units in order to consolidate multiple sets together. I bought Red for SAE sockets and blue for Metric. I had several sets of sockets from various manufacturers. Some with sockets missing, some from here, some from there, you know how it goes. I was constantly having to go from case to case to find what I needed. And, most manufactures put them in cases on their sides and they are difficult to get out, especially the smaller sockets. Anyway, this was a great way to build a full set of sockets and have them accessible. This allows me to pull everything together in one place and not have to look through various sets to find what I need. I wanted something light weight as the sockets are heavy enough without adding a metal bar or tray like most socket holders. I was most concerned about the locking of the sockets on theses, but I have to say I'm really impressed. You simply push the socket onto the holder and give it a quarter turn. Boom, locked! You can turn this thing upside down and give it a shake and they don't come off, and removal with one hand is a breeze. I also like the fact the you can purchase extra socket holders in 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" sizes to build the set you need. Plus, if you just need your 1/4" sockets, you can pull just that bar out of the tray. While I haven't had the time to sit down and do it, each tray comes with a set of labels to mark the sizes on the holders. That's an easy way to see what's missing after doing a job. I love these. It beats the manufactures cases, or having 50 sockets dumped in a box or bag that you have to sort through to find what you need.

I don't have a full socket set. Rather mostly SAE with a few metrics of different sizes. To buy a non configurable holder would leave gaps and would waste drawer space. This holder fits the bill. I had some confusion how it worked from the on line description, so here goes:The tray holds 3 rails. Each rail can be unlocked and detached separately, so you can carry a bunch of sockets to the job if you are not sure of the size you need. Each rail starts with 15 socket holders. They are each detachable from the rails. You can put any combination of holders on any rail at any distance so you can mix 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 size SAE and metric on any rail. The set comes with 15 of each size - total 45. You can purchase more but I didn't need to. There are stick on labels provided if you need them. I haven't decided yet whether to use them. Each individual holder twists to lock the socket. The socket slides easily on and off the unlocked holder and holds firmly when locked. Between my socket heads and adapters I have used about 75% of the spaces. My spark plug socket just fits vertically in my craftsman 2 inch deep work bench drawer with drawer liner.I have about half the drawer left over for ratchet handles and a wrench set.Product is high quality plastic and should last a long time. Price was very fair for this level of functionality and quality. You could mount this on a wall if you wish. You would likely want to keep the sockets locked until use - very easy and convenient to do.I hope this description helps. I bought this without full knowledge of functionality and it turned out to be an extremely versatile design and exactly right for me.Additional info: I have just added the Ernst wrench holder set (reviewed separately). I cut it in half to fit the remaining drawer space (Craftsman 11 x 22 inch.) Now wrenches and sockets are all in the same spot and arranged beautifully. Yes, a little OCD, but so satisfying.
