I have a Kala low G cutaway tenor ukulele. I've tried ALL the other brands with nylon, fluorocarbon, wounds, etc but didn't find the sound I was looking for. Tried the Ernie Ball black liw G strings and that was it. Nice loud, warm sound. Easy to install with ball ends. No excessive stretching. Tuned right up. Nice feel under the fingers while playing. Going to order more for my next string change.

These come well packaged to keep the strings in top condition during sale period. The ball ends make fitting easy or you can cut them off to tie the ends if you prefer, which I did.Like all new strings they have to be returned quite often initially but then they play nicely.I would buy these again when the time comes

My daughter only uses Ernie Ball for her Ukulele! Easy to install, great sound which sounds very warm and great quality for the price. She states the strings do not hurt her fingers after playing for long periods of time. We would highly recommend anything from this company.

I have used Ernie Ball guitar strings for many years, but was surprised to learn they6 also make ukulele strings. Glad I ordered these, as they sound great on my uke. Of course, what else would one expect from Ernie Ball?

Edited to add: Amazon AI customer service directed me to the Ernie Ball website for support. I used their contact page to let them know what happened. I had a response almost immediately and they referred the matter to their Canadian supplier. Took a few photos and emailed them to the Canadian rep and was told a replacement set would be sent out as soon as possible. Will update again if there's an issue with the speed or quality :)Original review follows:Switched out the full set of strings on my tenor ukulele. Let everything rest overnight then tried to tune it this morning. Immediately the Low G string snapped and broke. Thank goodness it was the string and not the neck of my ukulele!!! I took a chance on these strings - and now I know better. Seems this is a problem going back quite a while and nothing has been done about it as it's still happening. Sadly, the return window has closed - I bought two sets and will not be installing the second set after this experience. Lesson learned the hard way :(

I was looking for a low G string for my ukulele, and I came across this listing.First impressions were pretty good, as I was just expecting a singular low G string to come in, but they actually sent me a whole set of strings (including the low G)!The "Nylon Ball Ends" on these strings made them quite easy to assemble, and my only complaint would be that they don't explain the entire assembly process, but instead show the straightforward parts on their "manual".The strings sounded really good overall and I highly recommend!

I've been trying the other big names over the past 5 years but may stick with these. They give my Kala concert uke a lovely warm tone, and the ball ends are so easy to use. So happy.

I have always used Aguila and have tried all their different styles. I had the Red last time and they were nice at first but then wore out quickly and wouldn't stay in tune. I decided to try the Ernie Ball ones. Immediately they look and feel much higher quality than the Aguila. The sound is medium loudness and very smooth, play is buttery, they broke in fast and look great. I like the look of the gold wound 4th string with the other standard clear strings on my Uke. So far loving these and probably going to stick with them from now on.

I recently re-strung my ukulele with these new strings, and wow, what a difference they make! The sound quality has improved immensely. Each note rings clear and true, bringing a whole new life to my ukulele playing. The strings have a nice feel to them, making playing more enjoyable and less of a strain on my fingers. What impresses me most is how these strings manage to enhance the natural sound of my ukulele. Whether I'm strumming a cheerful tune or picking out a delicate melody, the music just sounds richer and more vibrant. It's like my ukulele has been given a new lease on life! For any ukulele enthusiasts out there looking to upgrade their sound, I highly recommend giving these strings a try. They're a game-changer, offering a great balance of quality, durability, and musicality. Definitely a purchase I'm thrilled with!
