I play several instruments in our gigging band and on several songs I switch between Bass and Mandolin within the song or separately. I was keeping the Mandolin on the floor on a stand but changing mid-song was cumbersome at best. Also, between pedals, wires, etc. it would get very crowded, and I found myself tangled up in the various components. With this hanger instrument switches are just a matter of reaching out and it's there. Hang it up and it tucks into a very comfortable position with the mic stand and is out of the way.Even if you don't do instrument switches, and you use a mic stand, I highly recommend this as superior to the traditional guitar-style Mandolin stand. Solid, Inexpensive, Functional

Having a separate stand for the guitar is kind of a pain. I use this and can hang my guitar straight from the Mic Stand.There is also a small table out there (complete with drink holder cup) that can hold a water bottle, picks, Capo, tuner ETC. The two together get all my musical needs up at arms length rather than on the floor

this is a good uke holder, I have several of them, I carry one in my music stand bag to hold my uke, especially in those situations I'm using several ukes, or a ubass. The others I've got clamped to a table so they're close at hand. you can rotate the clamp 90 degrees which makes it very flexible and useful. They're also very sturdy. Several of my friends have purchased the same hangers for their ukes.

This hanger does just what it is supposed to - attaches to a mic stand and holds my mandolin. The only complaint I have is that the mechanism for releasing the clamp is clunky and doesn't allow for a quick on or off. I have an iPad mount that uses a simpler clamping setup that is easier to use. However, based on what I saw for sale, this mount is a good value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
