I’ve been using these for years, predominantly due to their intonation stability and super growly acoustic bass tone on my 30 year old Ovation 4.As with any strings, clean and lubricate them after every use to maintain their brightness and they’ll last you a good long while.

There isn't anything I dislike about the strings. Bit of a pain to fit but that's because of my guitar choice. The Ernie Ball strings sound amazing. Very happy with my purchase.

I had an acoustic bass and thought, why are there electric bass strings on most all of the ACOUSTIC basses?So I googled bronze Acous bass strings and Viola!!! There they were.The came, I mean, arrived quickly and I put them on! Boom! They really do sound pretty freakin good. That acoustic “ring” is there now. This should certainly be the standard type of string for acoustic basses. Bronze or phosphor bronze. It should look bronze or copper in color, not silver.They sound great and are holding up well. One small point of quality control, the A string arrived with a discoloration where the sound hole is. Cosmetic only, but worth a mention if their QA dept is listening in.

1972年、アーニーボールが最初の現代的なエレクトリックアコースティックベースを開発しました。そのブランド名として選ばれたのはアースウッドでした。当時、このアコースティックベースの人気はなかったものの、一緒に開発されたアコースティックベース専用の弦はアースウッドの名前で今でも販売されています。一般的にSUPER LIGHT弦は 40、60、75、95 REGULAR LIGHT弦は 45、65、80、100が普通ですが、この弦は45、55、80、95、独特な弦太さの並びです。だが、アコースティックベースにはこれが絶妙なバランスです。音色は明るく、メジャーの曲を演奏するのに向いていると思います。フィンガーノイズも少なく、ライトでとても弾き易いです。
