EDIT #2: It took a month for the company to send the replacement part. When I tried to replace the broken piece, I realized that the piston that controls the rise and lowering of the seat is STUCK in the broken piece. I reached out to the company AGAIN and they suggested I "try tapping on the perimeter of the joint with a dowel or other tool that isn't sharp" instead of sending me a replacement piston. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have changed my review from 5 star to 1 star.EDIT: It's been 8 months, and the piece that connects the seat to the adjustable bar has cracked. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see what happens.I didn't think I'd like this chair, I'll just be honest. It looked weird and uncomfortable. And I wasn't sure it would work for my garage work table (I own/run my own business - I make home decor) and I sit A LOT. The chair I was using was not made to be sat in for long periods of time. It was hurting my butt and my back. This chair was rumoured to be the solution. So I took the chance. IT WORKS. My back does not hurt. My neck doesn't hurt. My shins though.... You have to get used to the position. The instructions say to give to give a little bit of time to get used to. I've had it for about 6 weeks and I use it a few times a week. My husband who also works from home has started using it too. So he uses it when I'm not (ok so maybe we don't "fight" over it, but we certainly love this chair). Bottom line: once you get used to it, it's worth it.

As one of those (🏳️🌈) who can't sit in a chair right, I've found 5 wonderful ways to sit in this chair like an absolute goof so far, and all of them are wonderful.

I did the thing where you look and buy without looking at reviews or anything. I'm surprised I got mine together after seeing a lot of them on here. The holes for the back rest didn't line up and is completely useless and defeats the purpose of the chair anyways. 😂 it's not that great tbh the foam is hard af. Came with a completely wrong bolt that was useless like the head was filled in... and to small for any hole. So I was short a bolt. There's a bolt and nut that require 2, count'em, TWO!, wrenchs but the only give you one. (The nut is a nylon ring lock nut. Yeah I had another one but I didn't even bother to get it cause I just wanted it done.)Surprised that it came COMPLETELY disassembled. Never seen that before and I ordered a lot. Handles are nice though.👌 but not comfortable at all. To hard.

Assembly instructions were not the easiest, pictures showed the underside of a black seat with black parts to be assembled on it. Had a few "extra" parts not listed on the assembly diagram but found out where they went. Specifically the spacers to keep the hydraulic adjustment cylinder centered on a bolt. FOR ME, this chair works well for my back pain caused by sitting in a standard chair all day BUT I cannot use it all day because it then hurts my knees. Effective use of this item is alternating between this kneeling chair and my standard butt chair once or twice a day. I have used the chair for about a month now and the new product honeymoon is over. Since doing the chair rotation, all has been good. The side handles (that this product has) I would recommend as a "must" as it helps moving around on the seat. I hope that when the time comes I can get replacement cushions for this. NOTE: I upgraded to the 3 inch wheels for hardwood floors and this requires the M10 threaded caster stems. Amazon recommended the incorrect type that "fits 98%" of all chairs.... you guessed it - this one is part of the 2%.

The chair is good in general. The casters are good and it's a little larger than most, which is good since I am 6'. I did not attach the back support.Downsides are the instructions. You need to be fluent in Ikea-nese to work out what to do. Secondly the seat is very tough. I have to use a softer cushion on the seat.I would encourage designers to design a chair that has forward-backward seat adjustment to accommodate the taller person. This chair has only minor forward-backward seat adjustment capabilities. The up-down adjustment of the seat is fine.

I am a 5' 10" 175 Lb male, and the chair does not instill confidence when I sit in it,The seat wobbles and the knee bolster is too narrow, my feet are left dangling in the air or resting on my toes.I'm sure this is great for a dainty woman or child, I cannot recommend it for a man of any stature.Assembly wasn't difficult but that is because I'm handy, the black on black instruction photos lack clarity, but a bit of common sense and trial and error will correct things.I'm not sending it back simply because I assembled it and maybe the Grands can make use of it.I want to feel sturdy and have contacts for my back, butt and feet.I had high hopes!Addendum, Back seat mesh is coming undone less than 30 days after purchase.
