it worked for 2 months, at first I was not sure about the accuracy , my problem erupted when the needle ended up pointing all the way up , also the inside moisture that wouldnot allowed to read it.Not sure if extreme weather may have caused it or may be water too hot , but finally Im back to Not be able to check the water temperature.

190 deg Fahrenheit is equivalent to 88 Celsius but in the gauge pictured it shows that it is equivalent to 93 or 95 ish.Given that very basic inaccuracy, it is very hard to trust this gauge. I mean, which one is it?

I like the look of it but it never goes below about 170 degrees. I attached a photo showing it at room temperature. This makes it hard to trust the accuracy. I guess it's ok for a relative indicator of engine temperature but I'll probably change it out with a different gauge soon. Wouldn't recommend.

These temp gauges are garbage. I have personally owned four of them and all four eventually quit working. The hose is very sensitive to external factors such as TEMPERATURE of all things, as well as bending and just general low quality. One time the probe actually broke off and was floating in the intake.Do not waste your time, you are FAR better off with the electric version!
